  • Day 1 Bucharest โ€“ Cozia Monastery - Olt Valley -Sibiu Old Town - Sibiel

      In the morning (9.00 AM), meet our tour guide at your Bucharest hotel.


      A panoramic tour of Bucharest kicks off our journey in Romania. Highlights include the Royal Palace, Triumph Arch, Victoriei Avenue, Revolution Square, Parliament Palace, Athenaeum, and more.


      Continue your journey to Transylvania by passing through the picturesque Olt River Valley and the Carpathian Mountains. A short stop at the 14th-century Cozia monastery.


      The verdant hills and valleys of Transylvania, the area beyond the forest, are becoming visible as soon as we pass the mountains.


      Weโ€™ll make a stop at Sibiu, where weโ€™ll have a stroll through the cityโ€™s historic center. One of Transylvaniaโ€™s largest and oldest medieval towns is Sibiu. The city, which was founded in 1190 and eventually became the capital of the Transylvanian Saxons, has a look and feel similar to older European cities like Nuremberg. Highlights include the Evangelic, Catholic, and Orthodox Cathedrals, the Lierโ€™s Bridge, the Big and Small Squares, the Staircase Tower, the Medieval Wall, and Fortifications.


      After a wonderful day of driving, weโ€™ll stop at a village outside of Sibiu. It is a wonderful rural area with well-preserved historic buildings and customs. Take a tour of the historic village on a horse-drawn wagon and savor a homemade meal crafted with local ingredients.

      Breakfast. You will be driven to Hunedoara as we continue our trip to Romania. The largest medieval castle in Romania, Corvinโ€™s (Hunyad) Castle, which dates to the 15th century, will be our next stop.


      Next, weโ€™ll travel to Alba Iulia, a city with a great history that dates back to antiquity. One of the largest Roman cities in Romania was located here, and its ruins may still be seen today.


      Due to its reputation as the "city of the Union," Alba Iulia played a significant part in Romanian history.


      Visit Turda Salt Mine, one of the Top 10 underground wonders in the world!

      The day will come to a close in Turda Town.


      Spend the night at a very stylish guest house in Turda Town.

  • Day 3 Turda - Surdesti - Desesti - Merry Cemetery - Poienile Izei (Maramures)

      Breakfast. We will depart early in the morning to go to Maramures, an area in northern Romania known for its wooden churches and well-preserved customs. First stop the wooden church in Surdesti (UNESCO). The church was constructed of wood in 1766, and because of its towerโ€™s 54-meter height, it is regarded as being the tallest historic wooden church in all of Europe.

      Desesti is the next station and visit the wooden church (UNESCO). Maramures is a place where you can take in stunning rural scenery, historic villages, and locals wearing lovely folk costumes. Weโ€™ll have a look at some of the areaโ€™s traditional craftspeople, such as a weaver, a woodcarver, a water mill, a traditional home, etc.

      Visit Barsana Monastery, a fine illustration of Maramuresโ€™ monastic culture and the design of wooden structures.

      Optional: We can take a two-hour excursion to the Sapanta Merry Cemetery, which is renowned for its vibrant gravestones with humorous poetry.

      Finish the day in the village of Botiza. Visit a local residence to learn more about how people live in these villages. visit a nearby sheep farm (depending on the season)

      Dinner and overnight in Poienile Izei village.

      Breakfast. Our new day of sightseeing in Romania will begin with a special visit to the Maramures Woman Museum in Dragomiresti. Itโ€™s a tiny but incredibly fascinating museum where we can witness how Maramures people used to live and learn more about their traditions and customs. A beautiful wooden gate at the museumโ€™s entrance provides your tour guide an excellent opportunity to discuss the meanings behind the Maramuresean Gatesโ€™ carvings.

      Next, weโ€™ll cross the Carpathian Mountains and travel to Bucovina, one of Romaniaโ€™s most well-known and visited regions, also known as the region of painted monasteries. It is a beautiful route with breathtaking scenery.

      Weโ€™ll visit the renowned painted monasteries (UNESCO sites). Itโ€™s incredible that these monasteries, which date from the 15th and 16th centuries, still have their original frescoes on the inside and exterior.

      Moldovita Monastery (UNESCO): Built-in 1532 as a result of the reigning prince Petru Rares

      It resembles a fortress because of its massive towers and tall, sturdy walls.

      The Sucevita Monastery, the most impressive of Bucovinaโ€™s painted monasteries, resembles an actual castle with towers, buttresses, and watch routes.

      Along with the historic and stunning monasteries, weโ€™ll also set aside some time to visit the Marginea pottery center, a museum,, and studio dedicated to painted eggs, etc.

      Spend the night in a four-star Guest House in Humorului Village, en suite rooms.

  • Day 5 Gura Humorului - Voronet - Bicaz Gorge - Red Lake - Sighisoara

      Breakfast. Start the day by visiting Voronet Monastery. Stephen the Great founded the Voronet Monastery (UNESCO) in 1488. It is renowned for its original frescoes, the color blue in the background, and the most spectacular and best-preserved depiction of the Last Judgment.


      Back in Transylvania, weโ€™ll go further across the Carpathians. Weโ€™ll travel by Red Lake and the breathtaking Bicaz Gorges on our journey.


      Go to Sighisoara to end the day.


  • Day 6 Sighisoara โ€“ Saschiz - Viscri - Prejmer โ€“ Brasov

      Breakfast. Another day of our trip to Romania will begin with a walking tour and a visit to the UNESCO-listed medieval town of Sighisoara, often known as "The Pearl of Transylvania." In the lovely medieval city of Sighisoara, you may still take in the ambiance of that era. The fortress, built in the 13th century by German (Saxon) settlers, served as a significant artistic and cultural hub during the medieval era. The old town is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is regarded as one of the best-preserved medieval cities in all of Europe.

      After that, weโ€™ll go through a collection of quaint, historic Transylvanian villages that have maintained their culture and way of life. Visit Saschiz hamlet, which is well-known for its organic jams created at home. Taste tests of jam, chutney, and syrup in a local producer store.


      The fortified church from Prejmer (UNESCO), built in the 13th century and a rare example of a defensive and religious complex, will be our next stop.


      Weโ€™ll have a walking tour of Brasovโ€™s medieval core in the late afternoon. One of the oldest cities in Europe is Brasov, which was founded in 1235. In the Middle Ages, Brasov was renowned as a strong fortress protected by thick stone walls, bulwarks, towers, and other minor fortifications.

      The historical centerโ€™s streets and buildings still have a very medieval feel to them. The tourโ€™s high points include Council Square, Black Church, White and Black Towers, Weaverโ€™s Bastion, and Ecaterinaโ€™s Gate.

      Overnight in Brasov.

  • Day 7 Brasov - Bran Castle โ€“ Sinaia (Peles Castle) โ€“ Bucharest.

      Breakfast. Weโ€™re going to Bran Castle in the morning. The majestic medieval Gothic fortress was constructed in the fourteenth century and served as Transylvaniaโ€™s gatekeeper. Today, people know it because of the Dracula tale.

      Continue to Sinaia and stop by the Peles Castle, which served as the Romanian kingsโ€™ summer palace. Without a doubt, Peles Castle is one of the most beautiful former royal residences in all of Europe and a fantastic destination.


      We should arrive in Bucharest around 4 pm.
