      A short ride for the bikers (approx. 12 Km) and the introduction of Maroeska to plant based cooking.

  • Day 2 Getting Into Ghent

      While the chef is working on your dinner with the guests who donโ€™t want to miss out one day of cooking with only plant based ingredients, the bikers are speeding to Ghent on their bikes.

  • Day 3 Ghent - Oudenaarde

      Ghent - Oudenaarde

      Swapping the position from biker to cooker, or stay on the bike and others continue to do the cooking with the enthousiastic support of Maroeska!

      Today we get into the Borinage, the Industrial Heritage of not so long ago, although some industrial places look as if they have been deserted a long time ago. In the mean time: cooking and biking continue.


  • Day 5 Antoing - Mons

      Following the French border we arrive in Mons. The cooking guests can visit Le Grand Hornu. Once the village of a progressive entrepeneur with a sharp eye for his employees, now the Centre of Innovation and Design not far away from Mons. 

  • Day 6 Mons - Seneffe

      Mons - Seneffe

      Today a highlight: from Mons everybody stays aboard to share a major experience: the "Strรฉpy-Thieu boat lift", taking the barge up to a height of 70 mtr. An iconic token of a history that never arrived. The lift was made for coal and steel transport, but as the construction was almost finished, the production of steel had changed to other parts of the world, leaving this Boat Lift as a monument of a past industry.

      Stop over for the night near Seneffe.

  • Day 7 Seneffe - Halle

      Seneffe - Halle

      This last day this tour: another day of cooking but today another monument. While the "Strรฉpy-Thieu boat lift" took the Feniks 70 mtr up, now we go the same 70 mtr down the Sloping Lock of Ronquiรจres to end in Halle, a little town just south of Brussels.

      After breakfast the tour is over and we say goodbye.
