      Transfer from Bovec to Trenta (at 8.30 am). This stage along the marked, well-maintained Soฤa trail runs along the emerald green Soฤa trail for almost the entire time and at the same time also leads through part of the untouched Triglav National Park. At the suspension bridge over the Krลกovec gorge, which forms the natural border of the Triglav National Park, the route continues towards Vodenca, where you then cross the confluence of Soฤa and Koritnica and soon afterwards reach Bovec.

      This stage runs mostly along the Soฤa until it leaves the river towards the end of the stage, up to the enchanting mountain village of Dreลพnica near Kobarid. Transfer from Trnovo to Soฤiโ€”Dreลพnica (at 5 pm).

  • Day 4 Day 4: Kobarid - Dreลพnica - Natural Monuments Near Kobarid

      Day 4: Kobarid - Dreลพnica - Natural Monuments Near Kobarid

      Transfer Dreznicaโ€”Kobarid (at 9 am). Kobarid, one of the most famous historical places in Slovenia, was already settled in the Hallstatt period. The village experienced the flowering period in Roman times. In the vicinity of the village is the extraordinary late antique hillside settlement of Tonocov grad. The city became known primarily through the Battle of Karfreit in October 1917 and thus found its place on the world map. During the Second World War, this place was the center of the liberated territory of the Kobarid Republic.
      The historical educational trail connects the surroundings of Kobarid with important historical, cultural and natural monuments. The length of the trail is five kilometers. You will need three hours for the tour.

      Day 5: Dreลพnica - Tolmin - Historical Trails In The Triglav National Park

      This stage steeped in history starts in the lively village of Dreลพnica and runs along former military trails in Triglav National Park. The meadow slopes above the village of Krn are dotted with alpine pastures that still tell of the struggle for existence at that time. The trail then leads through the waterfall area with Brinta, Gregorฤiฤ and the waterfall at the Mrzli Potok stream. At the end of the route, head back down to Soฤa until you reach the village of Tolmin, which is located above the confluence of the Soฤa and Tolminka rivers.

      Day 6: Rest Day In Tolmin

      The Tolmin gorges form the lowest and southernmost entry point to the national park and represent the most important natural attractions of the municipality of Tolmin. The tourist paths in the gorges area were carved out by the Tolmin Tourism Association more than half a century ago, and today the Turizem Dolina Soฤe takes care of and equipping these paths in close cooperation with the Triglav National Park.
      The tour will take you two and a half hours.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Tolmin - Tribil Superiore - Cividale - Over The Devilโ€™S Bridge

      Day 7: Tolmin - Tribil Superiore - Cividale - Over The Devilโ€™S Bridge

      Transfer Tolminโ€”Tribil Superiore (at 8.30 am). This stage takes you up hills and hills through chestnut forests and over old pastures until you finally reach the Marian pilgrimage town of Castelmonte. From there, the trail leads steadily downhill to the city of Cividale del Friuli. You can expect a route without technical difficulties that is suitable for everyone, especially those interested in culture. However, due to the length of about six hours, it should not be underestimated.
