      Day 2: Bolzano โ€” Trento

      The river Eisack accompanies cyclists from Bolzano, then the Adige River is soon reached and the magnificent cycle path leads through the orchards to Salorno, where German-speaking South Tyrol ends. The vines of the strong red wine โ€œTeroldegoโ€ now accompany you to the interesting old town of Trento.

      Day 3: Trento - Lake Garda South + Boat

      First, continue along the Adige river to Rovereto. From here, the tour heads westwards towards Lake Garda. In Mori, you can taste the well-known pistachio ice cream in the Gelateria Bologna. After a short climb, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the northern lake from Nago. This is followed by an exhilarating descent to the shore to Torbole and on to Riva. From here, relaxed sailing along the entire length of the lake to Desenzano or Sirmione

      A beautiful landscape shapes todayโ€™s cycling stage. Everything that tastes good is grown along the way: sparkling white wines, juicy peaches, sweet melons and even kiwis accompany cyclists through slightly hilly terrain to Verona, a city full of sights (festival arena, Julietโ€™s house, old city wall).

      Day 5: Verona โ€” Vicenza

      At first flat and then through the hills of the โ€œMonti Bericiโ€, the tourist area of Vicenza, with a beautiful view over the city. If you want to shorten this longer stage a bit, you can also bridge the first part to San Bonifacio by train. In the old town of Vicenza, you can still feel the spirit of Palladio, the famous architect of the Middle Ages.

      Day 6: Vicenza โ€” Abano Terme/Padua

      Many Venetian villas are located at the exit from Vicenza, such as Villa Rotonda. The path leads along the Bacchiglione to Abano Terme, one of Italyโ€™s most famous spa towns. Padua, the city of Saint Anthony and the scholars, is easily accessible by bus from Abano Terme. Youโ€™ll have plenty of time to enjoy the thermal baths.

      Mostly driven by the light wind, itโ€™s cycling leisurely towards the sea. The landscape is characterized by meadows and fields. The stage destination is on the mainland off Venice with excellent bus connections to the lagoon city. At the end of the trip, a small grappa tasting awaits you not far from St. Markโ€™s Square!
