Day 1: Welcome To The Julier Pass: Via The Fuorcla Dโ€™Agnel (2,982M) To The Jenatsch Hut

At the Julier Pass, our ASI mountain and ski guide welcomes us at 11 am. From here we start the ascent with our skis to the top of the Fuorcla dโ€™Agnel pass (2,982m), over which we reach the touring area of the Jenatsch hut. With a first descent and a short counter ascent we reach the cozy hut.

Day 2: Through Val Bever To The Piz Traunter Ovas (3,151 M)

Todayโ€™s tour starts with a short descent from the hut into Val Bever. At the bottom of the valley, we put our skins on our skis and climb up to Furcla Traunter Ovas. From here it is only a few meters to our summit destination. The descent along the ascent route leads over wide and obstacle-free slopes. If we are still in the mood for a little encore, we can saddle up once more and climb to Fuorcla Margun before finally descending back to the hut.

Day 3: Tschima Da Flix (3,315 M) &Amp; Piz Calderas (3,397 M) - Ski Classics From The Jenatsch Hut

The Piz Calderas with its 3,397 m is the highest peak around the Chamanna Jenatsch. It is usually climbed on one day together with the Tschima da Flix opposite. From the hut, the route leads us first up into the glacier basin of the Vadret Calderas to a glacier plateau at just under 3,100 meters. Here we now have to choose: first via the north slope to Tschima da Flix and then via south slopes to Piz Calderas or vice versa. Our mountain guide knows when and where the snow is best. From both summits we can enjoy a fantastic panorama all the way over to the ice peaks of the Bernina.

Day 4: Over The Piz Surgonda (3,195 M) Back To The Julier Pass

Also on our last tour day, another three-thousand-meter peak is on the program. At the beginning we climb in the direction of Fuorcla dโ€™Agnel, here we descended on the first day at the hut approach. Still before the saddle we branch off to Piz Surgonda. In good conditions the descent can be started almost directly at the summit, otherwise it is a few meters with skis on the backpack along the ridge ridge to the start. Over ideal slopes we now rush downhill directly to the starting point of our touring days at the Julierpass road. Here we say goodbye to each other around 2 pm.
