      Welcome to Serbian capital Belgrade! Meet with your tour director, to learn all about your trip de- tails. Check in hotel and free time.

      Day 2: Belgrade

      Discover the Serbian capital with a sightseeing tour in the morning. The tour will guide us to the through elite city district Dedinje unusual building TV Pink. You will take the road through the famous markets such as the Republic Square with the Par- liament, Terazije and Slavia, along the main streets of Belgrade, Knez Mihailova and finish on the Kale- megdan fortress in Belgrade, from where we can admire wonderful views of the city and the con- fluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. Free time in Belgrade in the afternoon to enjoy numerous shops and bars or get ready for the vivid nightlife.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Sremski Karlovci & Novi Sad

      Day 3: Sremski Karlovci & Novi Sad

      Drive to Vojvodina region, passing natural reserve of Fruska Gora, also know as holy mountain, since it used to have 35 otrodox monasteries in the me- dieval time. Almost half, 17 to be exact are still here today. You will stop in a little Baroque town, Sremski Karlovski, take a guided stroll downtown

       

      and learn about the special local wine Bermet wine that canโ€™t be found anywhere else in Serbia (nor the world). In the afternoon, arrival to Ser- bian second largest city Novi Sad, famous for its Petrovardin fortress on Danube river. Check in the hotel and go for a guided walk around famous landmarks such as the Church of Maryโ€™s Name, the architectural beauties of Liberty Square, Zmaj Jovina Street, Orthodox Cathedral, the Bishopโ€™s Palace. Rest of the day will be free at leisure.


  • Day 4 Day 4: Ilok, Vukovar & Osijek

      Day 4: Ilok, Vukovar & Osijek

      Bye Serbia and hello Croatia! Welcome to Ilok, sec- ond Croatian wine capital, where you will hear sto- ry about connection of Traminac wine and Queen Elisabeth II. You will also visit a famous Ilok cellar with one of biggest collection of archive wines in this part of Europe. Lunch on Principovac with stunning views over the wineyards region. Contin- ue to Slavonija, to visit the heroic city of Vukovar. As the city suffered tremendous damage during the War for independence, today it stands as a living monument and a symbol of resistance, in- vincibility, and persistence. In the late afternoon, arrival to Baroque town of Osijek, check in the ho- tel Transfer to Tvrdja โ€“ historical part of Osijekโ€™s military history where you will learn more about townโ€™s history and enjoy some time on your own.

      After breakfast join in for a walking sightseeing tour of Osijek where you will hear about magnificent

      art nouveau style buildings on Osijekโ€™s European Avenue. After that continue to heart of Danube - Kopacki Rit. Authentic lunch in local restaurant embark the vessels to explore this park of nature and biggest swamp in Croatia. Once done with ad- miration of landscapes fulfil with birds, deerโ€™s and other wild animals, head to speechless ethno-vil- lage Karanac. Complete village is restored and al- most all houses are now rural household. Return to hotel and overnight in Osijek.

      Check out from hotel and drive toward Zagreb. Our final experience in Slavonija will be in Kutjevo, Croatianโ€™s wine capital where you will visit one of oldest wine cellars in Europe and have traditional Slavonian lunch with wine tasting. Afternoon tour of Zagreb, composed of the Gornji Grad and Kap- tol, will show medieval urban complex of church- es, palaces, museums, galleries and government buildings popular sightseeing spots of the city. Check in hotel and enjoy some free time in the city.

      Cherry on top of your Croatia experience is defi- nitely the historical Varazdin.       Day 8: Treasures Of Pomurje

      Welcome to the lowlands of Mura river, the Po- murje region. Eventhough this may not be the most popular part of Slovenia; it still has a lot to offer. Crossing over the Mura region, the road will take you down south, closer to River Drava, ar- riving in little town called Jeruzalem. This region is called Podravje and is home to one of the best wineries in Slovenia. Here you will learn all about their wine process and product with a tour of the estate and degustation of wine and local products in traditional cottage โ€œzidanicaโ€. It will be hard,

       

      but we recommend to leave a little space in your stomacs as you continue to a local pumpkin oil production for some more taste of Pomurje. Lat- er on, you will head to Lendava for a walking tour of town and lunch, where you will try traditional bograc and Prekmurska gibanica. Return to hotel in the afternoon and free time to relax.


  • Day 9 Day 9: Balaton Lake & Budapest

      Day 9: Balaton Lake & Budapest

      Check out from hotel and drive to Budapest, cap- ital city of Hungary, imperial country that used to be a part of Austro โ€“ Hungarian empire. On your way, stop at Europeโ€™s largest freshwater lake โ€“ Balaton. Visit Tihany peninsula and enjoy some free time by the lake. Arrival to Budapest in the late afternoon. Check in hotel, free time and over- night.
