  • Day 1 Day 1: Beijing Arrival (No Meal)

      Day 1: Beijing Arrival (No Meal)

      Upon your arrival in Beijing, you will be picked up by Beijing driver holding a sign with your name at the exit of Beijing train station or Beijing airport, and then take you to your Beijing hotel to check in. The rest of day is at your disposal.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Beijing ( B+L)

      Day 2: Beijing ( B+L)

      Meet your guide and driver in the morning, then you will be escorted to Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and the largest city square in the world. Next you will pay a visit to Forbidden City, one of the largest and most completely preserved palace complex built of wood. It functioned as the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). 

      After lunch, we will go to Temple of Heaven which serviced as a complex of sacrificial building where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest. Todayโ€™s last scenic site will be Summer Palace, the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China. Today you will also stop by Chinese Herb Medicine Market to learn about traditional Chinese pharmacy and meet many kinds of herb medicine. Then Pearl Market to appreciate some nice pearl artworks. After the tour, you will be escorted back to hotel.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Beijing-Xian (B+L)

      Day 3: Beijing-Xian (B+L)

      In the morning around 07:00 am our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby in Beijing downtown area. Firs we will head to visit one of the Thirteen Ming Tombs, Changling. Changling is the tomb of the 2nd Emperor of Ming Dynasty, Zhu Di and his Empress Xu. It is regarded as the grandest one among the 13 Ming Tombs in Beijing. 

      After a Chinese-style lunch, you will be escorted to Mutianyu Great Wall, which is 73km from Beijing city area and the drive will last about 1 hour. It would be a good chance to see the urban and suburban scenery of Chinese capital. Mutianyu Great Wall is the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. It was built in the early Ming Dynasty at 1368 and stretches to 5400 meters. 90 percent of the Mutianyu is covered by vegetation. So in each season this part of the Great Wall will treat visitors with its unique scenery. The visiting time on Great Wall would be about 2 hours. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional. During todayโ€™s tour you will also stop by Jade Carving Factory to learn about Chinese jade culture and appreciate some exquisite jade artworks. As well as the Chinese Tea Market to learn about some tradition of tea drinking and you could optionally try some kinds of best Chinese tea. After all the activities, you will be transferred to Beijing train station for the overnight train to Xian (Suggested: Z19/20:40-08:31+1).

  • Day 4 Day 4: Xian Arrival (L)

      In the early morning, you will be picked up at the exit of Xian train station, meet your local Xian guide whoโ€™s holding a name board. Then we drive to visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda first, which is one of the two completely preserved Tang Dynasty Buddhist Pagodas in Xian. Next go to Xian Museum where you will find historical relics and learn about the history of this ancient capital city. Later on, visit the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The pagoda here was built in the Tang Dynasty for keeping Buddhist Sutra and figurines of the Buddha that Master Xuanzang brought back from ancient India. Now surrounding the Pagoda is the large public square for leisure. In the afternoon, head to Xian ancient City Wall. It was originally built in the Ming Dynasty for military defense. You have an option to ride a bike on the wall top. Afterwards, stop by the Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square and Muslim Quarter, a hub of the Muslim community and the famous snack street in China. When the tour concludes, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Xian.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Xian Departure( B+L)

      Day 5: Xian Departure( B+L)

      Your guide and driver will come to pick you up at your hotel lobby, and then drive you to visit world-renowned Terracotta Warriors. Known as "the Eighth Wonder of the world", the museum shows a surprisingly high level in sculpture, which is listed in the most significant discoveries of the 20th century. Before Terracotta Warriors, you will have a short stop at Xian Terracotta & Lacquer Furniture Art Factory. Afterwards, letโ€™s head to Banpo Museum. This New Stone Age site, dating from approximately 5,000 to 4,000 B.C. is one of the most complete examples of a Neolithic agricultural settlement in the world, and the largest ruins of the Neolithic Age in China discovered by now. After the day tour, you will be transferred to Xian train station or airport to catch your departure train or flight.
