Once you have finished exploring the city for the day, join your tour leader and fellow travellers for a welcome dinner.       Embark on a delightful day in Bath. After breakfast, stroll to the magnificent Abbey with one of Bathโ€™s top local guides. Explore the Gothic architecture, including the 161ft-tall tower and intricate stained glass, as the captivating story unfolds.


      Continue towards the city centre, pausing for coffee at one of Bathโ€™s oldest houses, known for decades as a renowned eatery. Explore more of Bathโ€™s history, including its Georgian terraces.


      Enjoy a leisurely lunch and delve into the 2000-year-old marvel of the Roman Baths in the afternoon. Concealed for centuries until rediscovered in the 19th century, this well-preserved structure provides a fascinating glimpse into Roman life. Interactive exhibits and costumed actors bring history to life, portraying characters like the Roman lady Flavia Tiberina and the stonemason Sulinus.

      Enjoy breakfast while taking in the beautiful views of the castle grounds. Afterwards, hop on a private coach and head south through the rugged and wild landscape of Dartmoor. There will be plenty of opportunities for photo stops on the way to Plymouth. While here, visit The Box, a recently created museum, art gallery, and archive. Enjoy lunch before boarding a train that will take you across Cornwall, ending at Penzance, the southernmost station in the UK. From there, you will be transferred by coach to your clifftop hotel in St Ives.

      Savour the breathtaking views while having breakfast, then board a private coach for a journey along the Cornwall coast. Discover the hidden coves once used by smugglers and deserted tin mines. You will also visit some of Cornwallโ€™s most iconic sites, such as Landโ€™s End and the stunning cliff-top Minack Theatre. Return to your accommodation in the late afternoon, for dinner at either the hotel or in one of the many areas in St Ives.

  • Day 6 Walk Around St Ives

      Walk Around St Ives

      Now for a more relaxed day. In the morning, take a guided walking tour to explore some of the hidden gems of St Ives, wandering through the maze of cobbled streets steeped in history. Discover the stories of the artists and historic figures who called this place their home. The rest of the day is yours at leisure, possibly do some shopping, have lunch at a traditional inn, visit the Tate St Ives gallery or just relax on the beach. In the evening, join your tour guide and fellow travellers for a farewell dinner at the hotel.
