Where does the experience begin? Will you pick me up at the airport or hotel?

We will pick you up at the airport upon arrival the day your experience begins; your guide will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel.

The currency used in Costa Rica is the Costa Rican Colon (CRC). We recommend that you change to the local currency before arriving in the country. It is also possible to change in some exchange offices, airport and ATMs when you arrive in the country. The minimum age required for this experience is 10 years. The price is the same as for adult

Do I need a travel insurance? What should my insurance cover?

You need to have a complete travel insurance that covers any inconvenience such as delayed or cancelled flights, as well as it is recommended to have an insurance for higher medical expenses in case there's an emergency.

What happens if I'm traveling by myself?

If you are traveling by yourself and don't want to share a room with any other solo traveler, you can ask for an individual supplement, you'll find the the fee and details on "extras".

Within what schedule will the tour finish on the last day?

The last day is only for transfer to the airport after breakfast.

You need to be in fairly good shape, since some activities are challenging such as the rafting

Do I need a visa to enter the country?

It is necessary to check directly with your country's embassy to confirm if there are any visa requirements to visit Costa Rica. This will depend on your nationality. It is also important that the passport has at least six months validity from the return of the trip. Day 1 Arrival to San Jose

After your landing at the Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO), a tour representative will be waiting for you at the airport for your private transfer to your hostel. It is necessary to inform your guide of your flight schedule at least 30 days before your arrival.
On the way, you will receive a brief introduction and recommendations on what to do in the city. The rest of the day is free to explore San Jose and learn more about this colorful city and its people.
San Jose is known for its colonial buildings, depending on your free time after checking in at the hostel, you can visit on your own (not included) Costa Rica's national theater and museum, the Jade Museum, enjoy its parks, plazas, and more.

Day 2 White Water Rafting at Pacuare River- Arenal Volcano area

Start the day early with the transfer of approximately two hours to Siquirres, a canton in the province of Limon, known for its agriculture and production of bananas and pineapples.
On the way you admire the Braulio Carrillo National Park and the banana plantations in Guápiles. You have breakfast in Siquirres, where you taste the famous "Gallo Pinto", traditional of the region.
Day 3 Nature Walk- Baldi Hot Springs

After breakfast, take a walk with the group through the Arenal Volcano National Park, where the professional guide will tell you in detail the history of the volcano and interesting facts about the area.

Today you travel in a minivan to "the cloud forest", on the way, board a small cruise ship and cross the magnificent Lake Arenal.
Enjoy the incredible view of the volcano and the different species of birds that the guide points out on the way to Monteverde, a city in the northeastern mountains of Costa Rica, known for housing one of the most important protected "cloud forests" in the world; it is necessary to conserve and protect them since there are very few of them left in the world.
Day 5 Hanging bridges- Zip Line Tour in Monteverde

Hanging bridges- Zip Line Tour in Monteverde

Start the day with a fun guided tour of the hanging bridges of Monteverde.
Appreciate the incredible nature of the area and during the way you listen to the detailed explanation about the fauna and flora that you can find.
Travel 3 kilometers between different paths and 7 hanging bridges, where you explore all levels of the cloud forest, from the ground to the top of the tallest trees.
Day 6 Monteverde - San Jose

Leave Monteverde to return to San Jose, the trip is 4 and a half hours in which you can marvel at beautiful views.
