There's not a minimum age required for this experience. There's a discount for children under 10 that are traveling accompanied by 2 adults, ask your sales agent for this information.

You need to have a complete travel insurance that covers any inconvenience such as delayed or cancelled flights, as well as it is recommended to have an insurance for higher medical expenses in case there's an emergency.

According to the group, the transfer from San José to Arenal will be scheduled according to a central point, today we will leave from this point in San José to the Arenal Volcano located in the northeast region of the country.
It is necessary to request confirmation of the departure point and time (at least 2 weeks before) through the Chat with the guide. The rest of the day is for you to spend at leisure.
Note: Transfer from your accomodation to the pick up place isn´t included.

After breakfast you have the morning free to spend at leisure. You can explore La Fortuna on your own or relax at the hotel. Ask your guide for optional activities to add.
Day 3 Arenal Volcano- Monteverde
8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Arenal Volcano- Monteverde

After breakfast you are picked up at the hotel and transferred to Monteverde. You cross by taxi and boat the Arenal Lake to get to Monteverde, which has one of the most important cloud forests in the world.
You spend the afternoon at leisure.

Day 4 Monteverde
7:00 am - 2:00 pm

Monteverde

Today you have a nature guided hike inside the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. The guide picks the best routes where you can observe the unique wildlife and flora of the area. Luckily you can spot quetzales and other typical birds of the region.
After this 4-6 hours hike, you spend the afternoon at leisure.
