      Individual arrival to Yerevan and check-in at the hotel. You can use the rest of the day for first orientation.

      After breakfast, explore the Armenian capital, one of the oldest cities in the world, with exciting monuments, vibrant squares and places steeped in history. The heart beats in Kentron, the city center, where Republic Square and Peace Square are connected by a lively pedestrian zone.


      A visit and guided tour of the Historical Museum is on the agenda. The museum offers a remarkable collection of exhibits depicting the centuries-old history of the Armenian nation. Afterwards, visit to the Tsitsernakkaberd Memorial Complex, where you will see the Genocide Memorial commemorating the 1.5 million victims of the 1915 genocide. The evening is at your leisure.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Yerevan - Khor Virap - Areni - Noravank

      Day 3: Yerevan - Khor Virap - Areni - Noravank

      After breakfast you will drive through picturesque mountain villages and vineyards to Khor Virap Monastery. From here you will have a unique view of the biblical Mount Ararat. Continue to Areni, which is best known for its wine growing and an assortment of outstanding wines. Here you will have the opportunity to taste some regional wines. Then continue to Noravank Monastery (13th century), perched on a rock at the end of a narrow gorge. Enjoy the harmony with nature and architecture and admire the three-story church as well as the princely tomb monuments before heading back to Yerevan.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Yerevan - Zwartnots - Echmiadzin - Yerevan

      Day 4: Yerevan - Zwartnots - Echmiadzin - Yerevan

      Just a few kilometers from the capital is the city of Echmiadzin, also known as the "Armenian Vatican". On the way you will stop at the ruins of the first Armenian round church Zvartnots (UNESCO World Heritage Site) from the 7th century. Afterwards you will visit the main cathedral of Echmiadzin (UNESCO World Heritage Site), which was built already in the 4th century. Note: Reconstruction processes took place recently in the cathedral and a new layer of frescoes was discovered. By announcement of the government the cathedral is therefore closed and can be visited only from the outside.


      On the way back to Yerevan you will visit Hripsime Church (UNESCO World Heritage Site), which is considered a true jewel of Armenia. Finally, a visit to "Gumi Shuka" is on the agenda, where a handpicked selection of local products is offered.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Yerevan - Geghard -Garni - Yerevan

      Day 5: Yerevan - Geghard -Garni - Yerevan

      First, visit Matendaran (Armenian for "library" - UNESCO World Heritage Site), a unique repository of ancient manuscripts that have high sentimental value for Armenia. Continue to Garni to the summer residence of Armenian kings with the only surviving pagan temple in the Caucasus, built in Greco-Roman style. Here you will have the opportunity to witness the preparation process of the traditional flat bread "Lavash". Afterwards, you will take part in a four-wheel drive excursion in the Azat Gorge of Garni to the grandiose basalt formations, known as the "Symphony of Stones". You will visit Geghard Monastery, built in the 4th century and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site with extended protection. It has a large number of churches and tombs, the majority of which were carved directly into the stone. The monastery is considered an absolute highlight of Armenian architecture of the Middle Ages. Afterwards, we will return to Yerevan.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Yerevan - Sevanavank Monastery - Dilijan - Border Crossing (Georgia) - Tbilisi

      After breakfast you will visit Sewanawank monastery complex. The monastery was built in the 9th century and bears the name of the peninsula on which it was built: Sevan. This is probably the point where the immense beauty of the great lake can be most easily appreciated. This is followed by a city tour of Dilijan, which is known for both its scenic and architectural beauty. In the old town, the unique balconies and terraces typical of the 19th century give an idea of the localsโ€™ enthusiasm for fine woodwork. Afterwards, drive to the Armenian-Georgian border Bagrats (approx. 17.00) and continue to Tbilisi.

      After breakfast you will take a city tour in the colorful and lively capital of Georgia. You will visit the historical monuments: Metechi Church, Sioni Cathedral, Antschischati Church and the famous Bath Quarter. Enjoy the cable car ride and get a beautiful view of the whole city.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Tbilisi - Signagi -Tsinandali - Telavi

      Day 8: Tbilisi - Signagi -Tsinandali - Telavi

      Today you will drive to Kakheti - the largest wine-growing area and the most fertile region of the country. First you will take a walk in the small, pretty town of Signagi. The well-preserved city wall from the 18th century gives the town its charm as well as the cobblestone streets and old houses with decorated wooden balconies. A wine tasting and lunch in a local wine cellar is already reserved for you. The traditional method of wine making, which is already 8,000 years old, is a UNESCO Intangible World Heritage Site. In the afternoon you will visit the house-museum of the Georgian poet - Alexander Chavchavadze - with a beautiful garden. Continue to Telavi.

  • Day 9 Day 9: Telavi -Gombori Pass - Ananuri - Gudauri

      Day 9: Telavi -Gombori Pass - Ananuri - Gudauri

      After breakfast, you will visit the Telawi farmersโ€™ market. Then you will visit the imposing Alaverdi Cathedral. The journey continues over the Gombori Pass (1620 m) and then along the Georgian Army Road into the high mountains. On the way you will visit the fortified church of Ananuri (17th century), picturesquely situated above the Zhinwali reservoir. On the way there are many charming and exciting perspectives. Afterwards you will go to the ski resort of Gudauri.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Gudauri - Stepantsminda - Gudauri

      In the early morning you will start to Stepanstminda via Cross Pass (2395 m). There you will take a nice hike to the Gergeti Trinity Church (2170 m). The undisputed star of Stepanstminda is the 5047 m high Mount Kasbegi, also known as the "White Queen". Afterwards the drive goes through the impressive Darjali Gorge, where great photo opportunities await you. In the afternoon we will drive back to Gudauri. (Walking time approx. 3,5 hours)

  • Day 11 Day 11: Gudauri - Gori - Uplisziche - Mtskheta - Tbilisi

      After breakfast we will return to Gori. A visit to the ancient cave city of Uplisziche, once pagan religious center of the country and an important point of the famous Silk Road, is on the program. In Gori, the birthplace of Stalin, you can see his birthplace from the outside. The journey continues to Mtsakhta with sightseeing of the ancient capital of the country. You will visit the Church of Dzhvari and the beautiful Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century). Both monuments are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Continue to Tbilisi.
