       Probably the most known and promoted volcano in Guatemala that never fails to impress its visitors. Because it is in constant eruptive activity, its morphology changes constantly which ensures that the visit experience is always different. During its ascent you have impressive views towards other volcanoes such as Agua, Fuego, Acatenango. (You can not get to the crater of the volcano because of the emissions of the fumaroles and the activity of the volcano) Two daily departures: From 6:00 am to 1:00 pm or from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm Return to Antigua.        This lake is considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, it is surrounded by three impressive volcanoes and picturesque indigenous villages of Mayan origin such as San Juan La Laguna and Santiago Atitlรกn. This is the ideal place to experience the surprising fusion between the Mayan worldview and the Catholic faith. 9:15 am Boat tour visiting the 3 towns around the Lake: San Juan La Laguna, San Pedro La Laguna and Santiago Atitlรกn. Where you can appreciate different Guatemalan traditions (such as clothing, textiles and art galleries) and the most emblematic places of these towns.        8:00 am Departure from Panajachel to the Chichicastenango market. This market is the ideal scenario to admire the amazing Mayan culture. Considered the largest large indigenous market in the entire region, this site is famous for its great color and the diversity of products that can be purchased, from vegetables, flowers and crafts. The religious syncretism between the Catholic faith and the Mayan worldview can be experienced in the Santo Tomรกs Church, located in the center of the town and in the Cerro Pascual Abaj, where they are held and in the Cerro Pascual Abaj, where Mayan ceremonies are held daily. IMPORTANT: In case that day 4 does not coincide with Thursday or Sunday, there will be a tour to the Archaeological Site of Iximchรฉ instead of Chichicastenango. Iximchรฉ is an archaeological site of Cakchiquel origin, It consists of a wide variety of Mayan buildings among which are ancestral temples and areas for ballgame. They discovered poorly preserved remains of murals painted on some walls of the buildings and ample evidence of human sacrifice. The ruins of the park were declared National Monument of Guatemala in the 60โ€™s. In the park you can visit a small museum where sculptures and ceramics are exhibited. Formed by a natural limestone bridge approximately 500 meters long, through which flows under the mighty Cahabรณn River and above spectacular turquoise pools are formed. This impressive scenery can be better appreciated from a viewpoint at the top of a hill. The intense heat of the region invites visitors to immerse themselves in these extraordinary pools to cool off. You can visit and explore without a tourist guide the caves of Estalagmitas and Estalacitas, which form a system of rooms, domes and capricious limestone formations that print a unique beauty. 2:00 pm return to Lanquรญn, space to explore on your own the caves and caves of Lanquรญn.
