  • Day 1 Transfer From Airport To Accommodation

      Transfer From Airport To Accommodation

      Today as your flight arrives into the capital city, you will be transferred from the international airport to your accommodation for the night. The drive is approximately 30 minutes. If you happen to be in Tana already - we are happy to pick you up from your accommodation or hotel within the city!

  • Day 2 Antananarivo (Tana) City Tour

      Antananarivo (Tana) City Tour

      This morning after breakfast, you will be scoooped up by your guide from your accommodation and will begin a day exploring the city. Frist you will transfer north to an incredibly historical site, Blue Hill, where you can ejoy some time spent there learning about the history behind the cultural heritafe site. From here you will enjoy lunch and then make your way back into Tana to explore common spots such as the old city and the queen’s palace. 

  • Day 3 Antananarivo To Antsirabe

      This morning once you have enjoyed your breakfast you will begin your journey along the country’s famous National Route 7. The drive today will be about 3.5 hours stopping along the way at small villages such as Ambatolampy - which happens to be one of the third hightest points of Mada! Lunch will be in one of these local villages before continuing on to your final destination for the day - Antsirabe! Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for the evening (in car or by rickshaw!)

  • Day 4 Day Tour Of Antsirabe And Surrounding

      Day Tour Of Antsirabe And Surrounding

      Today is an entire day dedicated to Antisirabe and its beautiful surrounding areas. Today you can explore the city, also known as Vichy Malagasy. One of the highlights of the areas is the thermal springs. This morning explore the countryside as you do a small bit of trekking all the while experiencing the local lifestyle and interacting with some of the locals. From here you will have worked up an appetite and you will enjoy lunch. Next, you will transfer to a couple of crater lakes surrousing the city where your knowledable guide will explain their history - really facinating! Later this afternoon, you will transfer back to the city to your hotel. 

  • Day 5 "Vichy Malagasy" To Ranomafana

      "Vichy Malagasy" To Ranomafana

      From the city most populare for its incredible thermal springs you will transfer to another very verdent and lush area of the country the Ranomafana Rainforest! First, you will stop in the carving capital of the country, Ambositra. Here you will experience the incredible talent of the locals and their craft. We will then continue to the rainforest enjoying lunch along the way. 


      As we arrive to the rainforest, you will have a chance to ask your guide many questions as there is so much to this natural paradise! Madagascar is known for its endemic species and upon entering the forest, you will see why! The flora and fauna available for your viewing today is abundant. This evening you will even have the opportunity for a nocturnal visit to hopefully see the little Lemur Mouse! Later today there is also a chance you are able to visit the museum and the thermal hot springs if they are open (to be confirmed once you are there!)

  • Day 6 Ranomafana To Ambalavao

      Ranomafana To Ambalavao

      This morning after breakfast exploring the National Park of Ranomafana continues! This area is quite famously known for its incredible birding opportunities - regardless of whether or not you are an avid "birder" the variety of species and endemic species to top is off is nothing short of impressive! Today the expedition explore within this green paradise. There are more lemurs to be seen and also be on the look out for the forests’ smaller friends such as chameleons, geckos, snakes, and so much more!


      This afternoon we wil depart Ranomafana for Ambalavao. En route we will be passing through mbalavao by Fianarantsoa which is the capital of the Betsileo tribe. You will visit the old city of "Fianar" (classified by UNESCO). After a short visit here, we will continue on to Ambalavao - known as wine land! Upon arrival you will transfer right to your hotel for the evening. 


  • Day 7 Ambalavao To Ranohira

      Ambalavao To Ranohira

      Once we have enjoyed breakfast at the hotel this morning, our day will commense! We will head right for Anja. Anja is a private park that is owned and maintained by locals. The park not only beenfits the locals and their community, but also saves many ringtail lemurs in the process. These friendly little guys are very used to us humans and have in the past enjoyed hanging out with our guests!


      There ae some lemurs that are easily approached - ask your guide before you do so to be sure! The Maki or Lemur Catta are the most famous ones in this part of the country! 


      From here we will enjoy a packed lunch on the way to Ranohira. This is where we leave the highlands behind us passing the Gate of the South! We arrive in Ranohira late this afternoon! 

  • Day 8 National Park Of Isalo

      National Park Of Isalo

      This morning after breakfast we will depart for our full day of enjoying the National Park of Isalo - perhaps one of the most impressive geology in Mada! The parks ruins that have been carved by the wind will leave you with a feeling that you are on another planet! We will decide which way we should drive on the spot and soak in the adventure that lies ahead! Today will be some exploring both in the vehicle and all foot. The amount of exploring on foot will depend on your phyisical capability - you can decide on the day of what you are up for! The park is your playground today and we can take the day as it comes - so many opportunities today!


      Lunch will be enjoyed in a picnic form within the park today. Once we have finished exploring we will return to the car and enjoy a lovely sunset before returning to the hotel for the evening.  

  • Day 9 Ranohira To Tulear, Zombitse National Park
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Ranohira To Tulear, Zombitse National Park

      Today we will depart on a journey that is about 215 kms in total. There will be about 4 hours on asphalt and then there is a dirct track we will take to bring us to a new the village of Llakaka. You will notice a drastic change in demographic as we enter a area famous for mining exploration. En route, we will visit Zombitse National Park which an array of sandstone hills and is home to at least 8 species of lemurs and about 30% of the birds here are endemic to Madagascar - which is truly unique. Today willl include baobab sightings famous carvings of the area

      From here we will make our way to Sarodrano and explore the mangroves and moringa trees. 


      Later this afternoon, you will transfer back to your hotel for the evening. 



  • Day 10 Tulear To Toliary To Ifaty

      Tulear To Toliary To Ifaty

      Breakfast will be had at the hotel before departing for a city tour of Tulear which is the capital of the Vezo Tribe. Once we have explored the city a bit we will depart for ifaty. the distance is not great at all. Ifaty is a fishermens village that is perhaps most famoulsy known for the countrys beautiful Baobabs that are scattered along the coastline standing tall!  In addition to simply Baobabs, within the Baobab forest there are plenty of endemic plants typical to this region of Madagascar that we available for observation. 


      From here you will transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure!


      Note** There is a shells market in the town that we very much do not reccommend supporting. The shells and coral that are brought here are the result of coral reef destruction around Tulear and Ifaty. For the good of the island, we ask you kindly refrain from supporting such destruction. By even visiting the market shows support and encourages the behavior to continue.

      Today is all yours to explore the lovely village of Ifaty. There aer many adventures that you can get up to today including water sports, clubs, cafes, and so much more. 

  • Day 12 Ifaty To Toliary To Tana

      Ifaty To Toliary To Tana

      Today from your hotel, you will be met and transferred by a 4WD to the airport of Tulear. The timing of the transfers will depend on the flight schedules. 

      Once you have arrived at the airport in Tana, you will be met by our staff where you will have the chance to do any last minute shopping or visiting of the capital city before returning to your hotel for the evening/afternoon. 


      Depending on the flight schedules, lunch will be enjoyed in Tana or Tulear today!


  • Day 13 Airport Transfer In Tana

      Airport Transfer In Tana

      Today is perhaps your last day in Madagascar! Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
