  • Day 1 Airport Pick Up And Transfer

      Welcome! Today your guide will pick you up from the airport in the capital city! From here you will transfer to the hotel for the night! The adventure begins!

  • Day 2 From Antananarivo To Andasibe

      From Antananarivo To Andasibe

      Good morning! After a delicious breakfast this morning you will begin the journey to Andasibe. Here, we will visit Peyrieras reserve where you can explore the dfferent reptiles around you. At the reserve you will find frogs, chameleons, crocs, iguanas, and more. Today you will also experience a nocturnal visit at Andasibe.

  • Day 3 Explore Andasibe

      Explore Andasibe

      Once we have finished breakfast this morning we will head out for the day to visit Andasibe National

      Park and Vakona Reserve. The Andasibe National Park is a protected rainforest and it is here you will get your first glimpse of Madaโ€™s famous little creatures - lemurs! In additon to the lemurs today you will have a chance to really experience how incredible nature is. Many of the plants and animals you see around you are endemic to the country - which is truly unique when you think that this is th only country on earth you are able to see some of these things. 

  • Day 4 From Andasibe To Antsirabe

      From Andasibe To Antsirabe

      Adter breakfast this morning, we will depart Andasibe and make our way toward Antsirabe. Upon arrival you will have a chance to get to know the city a little bit as we will embark on a city tour before turning in for the evening. The city has a lovely feel - a very French feel as you look around looking at the colonial buildings. The city is especially unique as there are rickshaws at every glance. The thermal springs are also quite a hit if there is time in the city!

  • Day 5 From Antsirabe To Ambositra

      From Antsirabe To Ambositra

      Today after a hearty breakfast, we will depart the cozy city of Antsirabe and make our way toward Ambositra. Once we are here, we can make our way through the city that is well known for its local handicrafts and workshops.  This area is the hear tof the countys woodworking!

  • Day 6 From Ambositra To Ranomafana

      From Ambositra To Ranomafana

      Today we will depart the heart of Madagascars wood carving specialists, Ambositra, for more incredible woodcarvists in Ranomafana. Upon arrival we will switch from our current vehicle to a 4X4 and depart for Zafimaniry village. This village and tribe are especially known for their art of carving wood and wood working. There village homes are constructed mainly without any nails at all. Today experience true art right from the course. The site is a UNESCO world heritage

  • Day 7 Ranomafana

      Ranomafana

      This morning we will enjoy breakfast and then head for perhaps the most famous location in Ranomafana - the National Park. We will also experience the village with more time as well. The Nationional Park is an incredible rainforest that has been at the forefront of many scientific studies. The park is home to many different species of lemurs, over 100 different species of frogs and much more flora and fauna - much of which is endemic to this region and to Madagascar! 

  • Day 8 From Ranomafana To Manakara

      From Ranomafana To Manakara

      As we depart Ranomafana after breakfast this morning, we will head for Manakara. Along the way experience an incredible view of the east cost of Madagascar. Driving through the country really allows you to feel a connection and truly get a feeling of the landscape and the locals and the overal geography of the country. 

  • Day 9 Visiting Manakara

      Visiting Manakara

      This morning you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel and the agenda today is to visit the Canal des Pangalanes (waterways and rivers along the east coat) and the local fishermen village by canoe! After which, we will explore the city of Manakara - a small port city on the east coast of Mada!


  • Day 10 From Manakara To Fianarantsoa

      From Manakara To Fianarantsoa

      This morning we will make our way more inland to Fianarantsoa for a city tour. We will stop in Fianarantsoa for the night and depart for Ranohira the next morning. 

  • Day 11 From Fianarantsoa To Ranohira

      From Fianarantsoa To Ranohira

      From Fianarantsoa this morning, we will depart for Ranohira. Upon arrival we will visit the wine deposit and

      the capital of the Baraethnic, Ihosy. Ranohira is very well known for being the door to Isalo National Park.

  • Day 12 Isalo National Park

      Isalo National Park

      Today we will explore Isalo National Park. The park is a flora and fauna mecca. There are hundresd os species of plants that are endemic to the area. The changing georgraphy is incredibly unique to experience. Your guide will take you through the park today. 

  • Day 13 From Ranohira To Ifaty

      From Ranohira To Ifaty

      Today we will head south from Ranihira to Ifaty. Over the course of today, we will get a panoramic view of

      Mahafaly tombs en route and also see some of the countryโ€™s most famous statues - baobabs!

  • Day 14 Beach Day In Ifaty

      Beach Day In Ifaty

      Today the day is yours to explore at your leisure. Opt to relax and swim at the beach or explore the area a bit more on foot. There are other activities available for you once you are here at your own cost.

  • Day 15 Explore Ifaty

  • Day 16 From Ifaty Back To Ranohira

      Today we begin the transfer back to the capital city. First, we will depart back for Ranohira. Here we will transfer to the hotel for the night. 

  • Day 17 From Ranohira To Ambalavao

      From Ranohira To Ambalavao

      This morning after a nice breakfast, we will make our way to Ambalavao. Upon arrival, we will visit Anja reserve and experience the handcraft of Antemoro paper. 

  • Day 18 From Ambalavao To Antsirabe

      From Ambalavao To Antsirabe

      We will depart for Antsirabe this morning. Once we are in Antsirabe we will have the opportunity to spend more time with the local artisans before turning into our hotel for the evening. 

  • Day 19 From Antsirabe To Antananarivo

      From Antsirabe To Antananarivo

      Today we will make our final drive back to the capital, Tana! Along the way we will visit the aluminum pots

      workshop in Ambatolampy before transferring to the hotel for the evening. 

  • Day 20 Antananarivo - Airport

      Antananarivo - Airport

      Today, depending on the time of your departure from the capital city today, there will be time for a short city tour and then you will be transferring to the airport.
