      Collection from the airport and transfer direct to your hotel.  Depending upon your flight arrival time, we can offer additional activities for the day, such as a trip to local Art Galleries.  Overnight in Amman.


       

  • Day 2 Day 2: Amman City Tour.

      Day 2: Amman City Tour.

      Start you visit to Jordan with a tour of the old city of Amman exploring the Citadel and the Roman Theatre, two of the most popular archaeological sites in the city. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant to experience authentic Falafel and Hummus.

      On this extended city tour your guide will take you through some of the back streets, markets and shops of the old city. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and try and get a good price on a headscarf ready for your desert adventures.

      On to the Royal Automobile Club and discover the love of cars and racing that has been in many generations of Jordanian kings, and has been passed on to the Jordanian people. A great collection of vehicles, from classic Rolls Royces and Bentleys to Ferraris and a Bugatti Veyrons.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Ajloun, Jerash, Um Qays.

      Head north to walk through history in Jerash, regarded as one of the most important and best preserved Roman cities in the Middle East. Then on to Ajloun and visit the castle, dominating the Ajloun skyline and built to ward off the Crusader armies at the key trade and pilgrimage intersection between Jerusalem, Cairo, Damascus and Mecca.

      Travel to the northern tip of Jordan and savor the beauty of Umm Qais, the Greek and Roman city overlooking the Jordan valley and the Sea of Galilee. Overnight in Amman.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Desert Castles And Nature Reserves.

      Day 4: Desert Castles And Nature Reserves.

      Head East into the desert and visit some of Jordanโ€™s Desert Castles. They are beautiful examples of early Islamic art and architecture, with fine mosaics and frescos. See the stunning artwork in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Qasr Amra.

      Visit the unique Azraq Wetland Reserve, a literal oasis in the desert.  Stop at the Shawmari Wildlife Reserve, a breeding centre for endangered or locally extinct wildlife, such as the Arabian Oryx.


       

  • Day 5 Day 5: Um Ar-Rassas, Kerak, Feynan.

      Day 5: Um Ar-Rassas, Kerak, Feynan.

      Start your journey to the south with a stop at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Um Ar-Rassas, a rectangular walled city that is mostly ruins, but boasts several buildings, four churches, including the church of St Stephen with a large perfectly preserved mosaic floor.

      Continue south to the ancient crusader castle in Karak, exploring the maze of stone-vaulted halls and passageways. The city of Karak was the capital of Moab and the castle dominates the skyline.  The castle provides an impressive insight into the architectural and military skills of the Crusaders.

      Descend onto the Dead Sea highway, before heading up hill to the Feynan Eco-Lodge. Voted in the top 10 eco-lodges in the world.  Experience the serenity of a night without electricity in the candle lit hotel.


       

  • Day 6 Day 6: Feynan, Little Petra And Petra-By-Night

      Day 6: Feynan, Little Petra And Petra-By-Night

      Spend the morning at Feynan. The eco-lodge offers a range of activities for guests, from cooking classes, to half day hikes or mountain biking, alternatively just relax and read a book in the beautiful setting.

      Then on Al Beidha, better known as Little Petra. Little Petra was an important suburb of Petra, the entry and exit point for the trade routes to the north and north-west.

      In the evening, there is the option of attending โ€œPetra-by-Nightโ€ (available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday). Experience your first sighting of the Siq and the Treasury by candle light. Overnight in Petra.

       



  • Day 7 Day 7: Petra

      Day 7: Petra

      Marvel at the beauty of the โ€˜Lost Cityโ€™, the Red Rose City of Petra, exploring its many caves and tombs.  Walk through the canyon and be astounded at the magnificent Treasury, the entrance guarding the ancient Nabatean city, now one of the Modern 7 Wonders of the World.  Overnight in Petra.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Wadi Rum.

      Enjoy the wilderness adventure of a 4ร—4 jeep tour of Wadi Rum, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, climbing sand dunes and rock bridges.

      Transfer to overnight in Aqaba, or take the optional night under the stars in Wadi Rum.  Enjoy watching the sunset and gaze at the stars in the night sky whilst enjoying the legendary hospitality of the Bedouin, before sleeping at the foot of the awesome mountains exploding out from the desert landscape. Overnight in Aqaba or option for Overnight under the stars in Wadi Rum.

      Jordanโ€™s window to the Red Sea, Aqaba brings a refreshing variation to the sands of Wadi Rum and Petra. Free day to spend relaxing as you choose, either exploring the markets of the downtown or visiting one of the beach resorts to swim, snorkel or scuba dive to admire the world-renowned multi-coloured coral reefs, fish and wildlife under the clear blue water. Driver and Guide at your disposal. Overnight in Aqaba

  • Day 10 Day 10: Canyon Walk, Mount Nebo And Madaba.

      Day 10: Canyon Walk, Mount Nebo And Madaba.

      Head north up the beautiful Dead Sea road, through the Araba Desert with sand dunes either side. Take a gentle walk up Wadi Numeira, a beautiful trail up the canyon. Be prepared to get your feet wet as you walk through the water.

      Then north to Mount Nebo and wonder at the view where Moses looked across to the Promised Land and later died and was buried. Then on to the town of Madaba and discover the amazing Byzantine mosaics excavated from throughout the town. See the โ€˜Madaba Mapโ€™, the oldest preserved mosaic map of the Holy Lands. Overnight in Madaba.

  • Day 11 Day 11: Dead Sea

      Day 11: Dead Sea

      After a busy trip, spend the day floating and relaxing at the Dead Sea at one of the resort hotels.  Enjoy the sunshine at the lowest point on earth, whilst trying out the invigorating mud bath to cleanse the skin.  Watch the sunset over the hills of the West Bank with Jerusalem in the distance.  Overnight in Madaba, or optional overnight on the shores of the Dead Sea at one of the hotel and spas.
