  • Day 1 Day 1: Drive To Langano
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1: Drive To Langano

      You will have an early breakfast drive to Lake Langano. Today en route you will make a stop on Awash River and Lake Ziway to visit aquatic birds. Continue your drive to Lake Langano (200Km from Addis Ababa, one of the Rift Valley Lakes and the only lake that you can swim in). Upon arrival, you will check into a resort by the lake side. In the evening you will have dinner at the lodge and stay the night there. Overnight Resort

  • Day 2 Day 2: Drive To Awassa
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: Drive To Awassa

      In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to Awassa (75 Km from Langano). You will be arriving in Awassa in afternoon and check into a hotel. Later, you can walk along the lake shore for nice evening sunset and aquatic birds. Overnight Hotel in Awassa

  • Day 3 Day 3: Excursion To Senkelle Wildlife Sanctuary

      Day 3: Excursion To Senkelle Wildlife Sanctuary

      In the morning after breakfast, you will visit the scenic morning Fish market in Awassa. Then you will drive to Senkelle Wildlife Sanctuary (90 Km from Awassa, well-known for endemic and endangered subspecies of Swayneโ€™s Hartebeest). Overnight Hotel in Awassa

  • Day 4 Day 4: Drive Back To Addis Ababa
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 4: Drive Back To Addis Ababa

      In the morning after breakfast, you will visit the scenic morning Fish Market in Awassa. Then you will drive back to Addis Ababa. 

      On the way, you will also visit Abiatta-Shala National Park, Lake Shala (a very deep crater lake - over 260 meters deep) and Lake Abiatta (a soda lake with thousands of flamingos). You will stop for lunch at Ziway. 

       

      You will arrive in Addis Ababa late afternoon and you will do some shopping for souvenirs. Finally you will be taken to a farewell dinner depending on your scheduled flight; you will be transferred out to Bole International Airport for return flight back home.
