Itinerary of your trip 5- Days Maasai Mara And Serengeti Safari - Kenya And Tanzani

  • Day 1 Nairobi To Maasai Mara
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Nairobi To Maasai Mara

      Your Driver-Guide reports to your hotel for Start of the safari, with a 7.30am departure for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara, Kenyaโ€™s famous game reserve. ( Drive time 5.5 hours). You will be in your own private safari vehicle. Stop briefly enroute at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of the largest Valley system in the world, said to be visible from outer space. Arrive at Masai Mara for lunch. The afternoon game drive at 3.30pm allows spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Return to your camp by 6.30pm.

      Enjoy A Full Game Drive In Maasai Mara

      You will spend this entire day doing game drives through the amazing maasai mara game reserve, popular for its high concentration of wildlife and over 400 bird species thus making it Kenyaโ€™s number 1 wildlife destination. The park also has an amazing scenery, composed of dotted acacia plains and beautiful landscapes which are home of the lions are found in abundance, elephants, buffaloes, Black rhinos, giraffes, genet cats, roam antelopes, leopards, cheetahs & Black-manned lions. A drive to the famous Mara River will give you the chance to see the huge crocodiles basking on the sun.

      If you book your safari during the months of june/july, you will have an opportunity to witness the wildebeest migration where zebras, antelopes and wildebeest attempt to cross the crocodile infested Mara river with some not making it across as they are feasted upon by the crocs. The herbivores cross this river in an attempt to seek greener pastures across.

      Depart after your early morning breakfast for Serengeti drop off at Isebania border; this will include normal border crossing formalities.  Serengeti National Park is easily Tanzaniaโ€™s most famous national park, and itโ€™s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometers of protected area that borders Kenyaโ€™s Masai Mara Game Reserve. Its far-reaching plains of endless grass, tinged with the twisted shadows of acacia trees, have made it the quintessential image of a wild and untarnished Africa. Its large stone kopjes are home to rich ecosystems, and the sheer magnitude and scale of life that the plains support is staggering. Dinner and overnight at the Tented Camp

      Full Time Game Drive In Serengeti National Park

      Spend these two nights in Serengeti National Park for game viewing. Your skilled driver knows the Serengeti and where to locate even the most elusive of animals. Morning and afternoon daily wildlife viewing affords you the opportunity to track and photograph the โ€˜Big Fiveโ€™. You will be doing game drives while tracing the Big Five.
