      Today, explore the ancient FesFez - Volubilis - Meknes - Chefchaouen

       medina, surrounded by nine miles of ramparts. Begin at the Royal Palace, known for its magnificent bronze gates. Visit the Mellah, Jewish cemetery, and the well-preserved Ibn Danan Synagogue. Enjoy panoramic views of the medina and explore the ceramics quarter. Wander the bustling medinaโ€™s narrow streets, discovering fresh fruit, spices, Berber carpets, brassware, silverware, and traditional jewelry. Visit El-Attarine, El Bou Inania Medersas, and the Karaouine university-mosque. Lunch at a traditional restaurant near Nejjarine Square. End your tour at the blue gate "Bab Boujloud" and return to your hotel for the night.

      Today, leave for Meknes, the capital of Moulay Ismailโ€™s empire, once called โ€œthe Moroccan Versailles,โ€ strategically located in the foothills of the Middle Atlas and surrounded by fertile plains and abundant water supplies. It was the birthplace of the famous 18th-century scholar and cabbalist Ribbi Hayyim Ben Moses Ibn Attar. Start your tour here, driving through the ramparts and monumental gates, visit the glorious Bab Al-Mansour, the bustling El Hedim Square, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Continue on to visit the granaries, the Royal Stables, and the House of Water. Visit the new and old Mellah, beautiful well-kept synagogues, and the old Jewish cemetery, where several saints are buried including the โ€˜Patron of Meknesโ€™ Rabbi David Benmidan. Then, visit the imperial city of Meknes and the well-preserved ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis where you will see a Hebrew epitaph proving the existence of a Jewish community during the Roman occupation. The World UNESCO site of Volubilis contains mansions, incredible mosaics, ancient olive presses, monumental arches, and Corinthian columns. Travel straight on to the blue-washed city of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen offers endless winding narrow streets and picturesque buildings. Find Plaza Outa el Hammam for a restaurant or cafรฉ and enjoy a meal as you people watch. Explore the nearby kasbah (old fortification) and tour the garden, museum, and some of the old prison cells. Follow the street east to pass over the Ras el Ma Spring and ascend the path (20-30 minutes) until you reach the abandoned white Spanish Mosque. Enjoy one last view over Chefchaouen as the sun sets behind the mountains.

Born in Jerusalem, this rabbi was known for performing many miracles in Morocco during his lifetime. Continue to Casablanca. Visit the Temple Beth-El, the main Jewish Synagogue, famous for its uniquely beautiful stained-glass windows attracting tourists from around the world. Not just this, but experience the Jewish culture by paying a visit to witness the ethnography in its finest form at the Museum of Moroccan Judaism. It is truly a historic marvel!
