At the agreed time our staff will transfer you to the new port of Santorini, Athinios. There you will board the ferry to the largest island in Greece, Crete. More precisely, to the port of Heraklion.

The name "Heraklion" means "the glory of the goddess Hera". This city is the capital of Crete and one of the Mediterranean’s most fascinating places.

It was the most important city of the Minoan civilization. King Minos and the ferocious Minotaur lived there, according to mythology. It is also here where the Palace of Knossos is located, the oldest palatial complex in Europe.

Upon your arrival, we will meet you at the port and transfer you to your hotel.

From Knossos Palace To Rethymno & Chania

Early in the morning, at the time indicated, we will pick you up from your hotel to begin your adventure. Firstly, you will visit the Palace of Knossos, the oldest palatial complex in Europe, home to King Minos and the mythological Minotaur.

Together with your guide, you will continue to Rethymnon, a city which was formerly occupied by the Venetians and where you will enjoy a guided walk through its narrow and picturesque streets as well as free time to have lunch and enjoy the excellent gastronomy of the island.

After lunch, you will continue along the coastal road to Chania, appreciating the beauty and history of this island.

You will stay in this city, also called "Haniá," and have free time to visit its charm with your guide’s recommendations. This includes, among others, the old Venetian port and, of course, the local market.

Excursion To Elafonissi And Dinner In Chania

Early in the morning, and after a tasty breakfast, we will pick you up to discover one of the most hidden treasures of this island. On our way, we will enter the southwestern region of the island. There, idyllic beaches of pink sand are washed by the transparent waters of the Libyan Sea.

Among these, the indisputable protagonist is the incredible beach of Elafonissi, a flat morsel of land with sporadic vegetation against the stark bareness of the Cretan mountains. It is a magical place with a small islet full of white and pink sandy beaches.

It takes its name from the word ’Elafi’, which in Greek means deer, because you can easily get to it through the shallow waters, like a deer. Free time to swim on one of the loveliest beaches in the world with sun loungers and umbrellas provided for your convenience.

After this extraordinary jewel of nature and towards the end of the day, you will make your way back to Chania. In the evening, we will be offering you a special dinner, at a traditional Greek taverna, enjoying the live music at the old port of Chania.
