  • Day 1 Cusco - Mollepata - Soraypampa - Humantay

      Cusco - Mollepata - Soraypampa - Humantay

      We start this amazing adventure with the pickup from your hotel at 4am approx., this will be a ride of two hours approximately until we arrive to Mollepata town, where we will have our first breakfast which is not included, after breakfast we continue on transportation to Challacancha where is the started point of the hike. Here we meet the chef and muleteers and need to check our luggage, pack the horses, and begin the long ascent to our campsite. Three hours and a half approximately to arrive at our campsite, on the way you will hike the original Inca trail Canal. The experience is unique, you will be part of nature and see far away the Salkantay Mountain which is breathtaking at first glance.  After this we will arrive to our campsite where we will be waiting for you, you will get the accommodation and we will wait for the lunch to recover energy after lunch, you will have some free time until we will start our hike up to Humantay Lake, this will take two hours to hike up and one hour on the way back approximately. You will enjoy the beauty of Humantay Lake which is located on the bottom of the snowcapped Humantay Mountain. It is quite cold as you can imagine but the view is unique and worthy. Back to our campsite, you can change your clothes and then you will enjoy a delicious dinner. After dinner, our tour guide will brief the itinerary for the next day, which is moderate to challenging.

  • Day 2 Soraypampa - Salkantaypampa - Ichupata - Pampa Japonesa

      This day, you will wake up early and be ready and prepared for this beautiful experience. Then you will enjoy the delicious breakfast. You will hike to the Pampa Salkantay, this path is exhausting and difficult. We will make some breaks along the way to enjoy the nature of the impressive mountains, time for photographs and an adequate guided explanation and of course, recover some energy. Then we will continue our walk to Ichupata, throughout the way the landscape will be surrounded by natural landscapes and you will notice that once there you will have a delicious lunch, our chefs will surprise you, after recovering some energy. We will continue towards Pampajaponesa, where we can rest and relax, as well as enjoy spectacular landscapes. Upon arriving at the camp, you will be able to rest for a while to prepare for dinner, where our tour guide will inform you of the itinerary for the next day.

  • Day 3 Pampa Japonesa - Inka Chiriasca Pass - Pampa Cahuana - Paucarcancha

      Today will be a challenging day, we will wake up early in the morning to have a delicious breakfast. We will ascend towards the Incachiriaska pass, where we will see the impressive glaciers. Upon reaching the summit, the chef will wait for us with a welcome tea to acclimatize us to the altitude and we will enjoy fantastic lagoons. We will take a break before descending to Yanacaca. In Yanacaca, we will have our delicious lunch prepared by our chef and then continue walking towards Pampacahuana, passing through wonderful Andean landscapes until we reach the Inca Canal. Along the way we will see different archaeological sites where the guide will tell us the story and then arrive at Paucarcancha, where we will enjoy our exquisite dinner and rest in our camp to recover for the next day.

  • Day 4 Paucarcancha - Huayllabamba

      We will have breakfast and walk a little to visit the archaeological site of Paucarcancha, we will learn about its history and details of the Inca era, we will also be surrounded by flora and fauna with a warm climate and lots of vegetation. Then we will begin the Classic Inca Trail to Machupicchu and you can have lunch to continue to the camp in Wayllabamba, the Inca Trail will welcome us with impressive landscapes that you can enjoy and take spectacular photos. At night you will enjoy a delicious dinner and then go to enjoy a well-deserved rest.

  • Day 5 Wayllabamba - Llulluchapampa - Dead Woman Pass

      We will wake up early and after breakfast we will begin our challenging walk through the Valley of Wayllabamba on our journey we will be able to observe the nature and the ecological change of the area until we arrive to (Yunca Chipana) Wayllabamba from where we will climb to Llulluchapampa at 3,750 m.a.s.l. / 2,330 ft., from this point we will be able to appreciate the valley of Huayanay and the first step located at 4,200 m.a.s.l./2610 ft. Warmiwañusca, called dead woman, then we will begin descent to the camp in the sector of Pacaymayo  Alto, where we have a taste lunch. In the evening, we will enjoy the dinner and spend the night at the camp.

  • Day 6 Pacaymayo - Wiñaywayna

      We will have breakfast and on this day, we will ascend to Runkurakay at 3,860 m.a.s.l. / 2,389 ft., contrary to the previous days our walk will be two hours more we will be able to visit another small complex, Sayacmarca and appreciate the valleys and snow-capped mountains, further on we will stop to visit the complex of Phuyupatamarca, where we will have lunch, and then descend 3 hours until we arrive to a place called Wiñaywayna where we will visit its complex, finally at Wiñaywayna we will camp and in the evening, we will have the dinner and spend the night there.

  • Day 7 Wiñaywayna - Machupicchu - Aguas Calientess - Cusco

      We will have breakfast early in the morning, then we will walk to Intipunku called Puerta del Sol where we can observe the impressive Lost City of Machupicchu, we will walk to the Sanctuary where we will have the opportunity to take the classic photo and then leave the complex to leave our luggage in the cloakroom and re-enter to visit Machupicchu where our guide will tell us the history of Machupicchu through time visiting the different places within the citadel. Then we will board the bus to Aguas Calientes. At a suitable time, we will walk to the station and take the Vistadome train back to Ollantaytambo and a transfer will wait to transport you to your hotel in Cusco.
