Wake up and fill up with energy with a delicious breakfast and then go on a walking tour through the interesting city of Bogota.
During the walking tour, you are surprised with the history of the city, which was populated by indigenous groups that migrated from Mesoamerica.
See the historic center, known as La Candelaria, where you find churches, the Plaza Bolivar and the Palacio del Estado.
Continue with the visit to the Gold Museum, where you find the exhibition of more than 30,000 pieces of gold, most of the jewelry of the pre-Columbian indigenous cultures, you can also see works in ceramics, textiles, and stones.
You also have the opportunity to discover the Botero Museum, with more than 123 beautiful works of Colombian artist Fernando Botero, as well as different artists from different countries.
Finally, you visit one of the most emblematic places in Bogota, the Cerro de Monserrate, located in the eastern hills of the city. Start with breakfast at the hotel and then head to Zipaquira, a city located northwest of Bogota.
Visit the Salt Cathedral, located in a subway mine that undoubtedly makes it the most emblematic place in the city.

Finish your tour of the Salt Cathedral and return to Bogota for your flight to Pereira.
At the time indicated by your guide, you will be transferred to the Bogota airport to take the approximately one-hour flight to Pereira, a city located in the mountainous region and known for its delicious coffee.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel in Salento, a coffee city located about an hour from the airport. You check-in at the hotel and according to the flight schedule you have free time to start touring the city on your own.
Salento is the oldest municipality in the department of Quindio, so its traditional architecture and craft workshops make it an unforgettable place. There you will find colorfully painted colonial houses, balconies full of flowers, and what is better, the warmth of its people.

Have breakfast at the hotel and then visit the Cocora Valley, a natural space where the Wax Palm, the national tree of Colombia, is found.
Take a 2-hour hike surrounded by these impressive palm trees up to 70 meters high, making them one of the tallest and most impressive species in the world.
During the hike you are amazed by the beauty of the Andean landscape, at the end, you have lunch and free time to learn and play traditional games such as "Tejo" or "Rana", accompanied by a Colombian beer.
Continue the day with an educational and interactive tour where you learn about the daily work of a farmer in the coffee region.
You will visit a coffee farm in the region, starting with a visit to the seedbed to learn about the planting process and its maintenance, followed by the coffee plantations and the mill that is located in the vicinity of the farm. The mill is the place where the coffee is currently processed on the farm. At the end of the visit to the farm, you learn how to prepare a delicious cup of coffee.
The rest of the day is free to rest at the hotel or enjoy a bit of this city at your own pace.

After breakfast and according to the time indicated by the guide, you have the transfer to the airport in Pereira, where you take your flight of a little more than an hour to Cartagena.
Cartagena is a city located on the Caribbean coast of Colombia and one of the most visited tourist destinations in the country for its beautiful beaches and warm weather.
Once in Cartagena, you have the transfer from the airport to the hotel.
Take a walking tour through the walled city of colorful streets with your companions and guide.
Learn about Cartagena's past and present as you visit monuments such as the Clock Tower or the statue of Don Pedro de Heredia, the founder of the city, as well as other less-visited parts of the historic center.
Cross the Bolivar Park, in front of the Palace of the Inquisition, which is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, and the Plaza de San Pedro Claver, dedicated to the monk of Spanish origin known as the "Slave of the Slaves" for his life dedicated to caring for the African slaves brought to the Spanish colonies. You also visit the city's Getsemani neighborhood, named by Forbes magazine as one of the coolest neighborhoods in the world.

Finish breakfast and get ready to spend a day of rest and fun in the Rosario Islands, located about 40 km southwest of Cartagena.
Arrive at the islands by boat after almost an hour, enjoy its beautiful scenery, clear waters, gentle breezes, and marine life such as dolphins.
Today, the entire surrounding area, including the Baru Islands and the San Bernardo Islands, are officially protected sites.
Enjoy an excursion on Majagua Island where you have enough time to explore the beautiful nature and relax on the beach.
Have a delicious typical lunch and in the afternoon you return to Cartagena.
