Day 1: Mexico City - Tokyo

Welcome to Tokyo!

Once you arrive at Narita International Airport (NRT) and check into your hotel, you'll have plenty of time to recover from your flight and relax. Enjoy free time to explore the city on your own.

We recommend that you buy a local SIM card when you arrive in Tokyo, to be in communication with your Adventure Leader. For free days, you will be provided with information on how to get to places of interest.

Day 2: Tokyo

You start the tour with a visit to the Ghibli Museum, where you can see the work of the Japanese animation studio Studio Ghibli. Inside the museum you can find a theater showing movie excerpts, a children's play area, a rooftop garden, and exhibits related to his movies, including Spirited Away.

Then you know the Toei Animation Museum, which was founded by the main producer of anime series and movies, for example animated versions of Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon.

You can explore the "memory alley" Shinjuku Omoide Yokocho, one of the largest neighborhoods in the city where you can find dozens of bars and food outlets.

Day 3: Tokyo

You will enjoy a ride along the Sumida River and its beautiful views of the Tokyo skyline, departing from Hinode Pier to Asakusa to explore its streets and learn about Buddhism on your visit to Sensoji Temple.

In Akihabara "The Electronic City" you will have free time to get to know and explore the city and its anime shops; don't forget to visit Sega, an iconic building full of arcade machines.

You can take the optional "Made in Tokyo" tour. You can also live the experience of becoming Mario or Luigi and drive on the streets of Tokyo.

Get ready to sing your heart out as you try out one of Japan's favorite pastimes: karaoke!

Day 4: Tokyo

Get ready to meet Nakano Broadway, the famous multi-story complex and shopping center full of anime, manga jewelry and more collectible action figures.

Compare the traditional and the modern in the Harajuku area of Tokyo. Stroll through the forest to Meiji Shrine, dedicated to Emperor Meiji and his wife Empress Shoken, who initiated Japan's transformation from feudal to modern society in the early 20th century.

You'll then head to Harajuku, famous for its colorful street art and fashion scene with quirky vintage clothing stores and cosplay shops on Takeshita Street, and more traditional and upscale boutiques on Omotesando Avenue.

You can have free time to visit the most famous crossing in the world Shibuya crossing. Avenue very crowded by pedestrians who get in the way from all sides.

Day 5: Tokyo

Enjoy exploring Ikebukuro City on your own, visit Sunshine City Mall and Otome Road for anime!

Get ready to catch Pokémon on your visit to Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo.

Then enjoy the Namjatown theme park, with incredible attractions, delicious gyoza and dessert!

Day 6: Tokyo

Make the most of a day off in the city. You can explore on your own or ask your guide what he has planned.

We recommend you visit the gardens of one of the largest parks in Tokyo, Shinjuku Gyoen. Famous for their Cherry Blossom season in spring.

You can also take a walk through the Ameyoko Market where you can find all kinds of Japanese products.

Day 7: Tokyo - Mexico City

Your incredible adventure through Japan comes to an end. You can check out of the hotel and start your return home or stay longer in Tokyo. Some people continue to see more places, and others return to their countries of origin, it is your decision.

According to the schedule of your flight, you should go to Narita International Airport (NRT) where you board the plane to start the return journey.

Note: The flight from Tokyo to Mexico City is included, it can have up to 2 stopovers and depart between 1 and 2 days after the experience. Detailed flight information (airline, route, date and time) will be provided no later than 7 days before the start of the experience.
