Day 1: Arrival in Yellowknife
Upon arrival at the airport, your guide will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name. Pick up at the airport is included from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm. The guide will transfer you to your hotel. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, banks and shops. You will have an informative meeting. You will also have time to try on winter clothes (optional in case of rental), to go shopping, and have dinner on your own.
Note: If you can't identify your guide upon arrival at the airport, please approach the information booth (inside the airport), where you can dial #27 to contact a tour representative that will help arrange your transfer.
Timings in the itinerary are approximate and may change in destination.
At 10:00 pm, you will leave to see the auroras. You will drive until the guide finds an ideal spot in the middle of nature. You return to the hotel around 2:30 am.
Accommodation: Super 8 Hotel or similar, double room. Meals: Not included.
Day 2: Aurora hunting
Day 3: Aurora hunting
Day 4: Aurora hunting in Teepee camp or cabin
Day 5: Departure from Yellowknife
