    • 9:30 am - 1:00 pm

Santa Marta - Mamey - Adan Camp

Start the adventure from Santa Marta in a 4x4 vehicle. After a fun 3 hour drive, you arrive at El Mamey.

Have lunch and get the necessary energy to start the hike through one of the largest pre-Columbian towns in Latin America, which was inhabited by the Tayrona civilization between the 11th and 14th century.

The Lost City, called Teyuna in indigenous language, is the highest mountain in the world by the sea and is located in the heart of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. This mythical site is a complex system of terraced constructions, dwellings and ceremonial centers, vestiges of sophisticated architecture and engineering with spectacular scenery.

Adam Camp - Buritaca River - El Paraíso Camp

After a nutritious breakfast at the camp, start very early in the morning with a 14.7 kilometer hike, which is approximately 8 hours among beautiful landscapes.

At halfway you visit the indigenous community of Mutanyi before arriving at the cabin Cabaña Paraiso Teyuna, located at the foot of Teizhuna (teyuna), the sacred city of the Tayrona people at an altitude of 830 meters.
