  • Day 1 Day 1: Kunming

      Day 1: Kunming

      Arrive at Kunming airport, after be met by your English speaking staff , transfer to your hotel in Kunming city which is located in the middle of Yunnan, it not only as the capital of Yunnan but also is the economic and cultural center of Yunnan and well known as โ€œThe City of Eternal Springโ€.  Free at leisure for the rest of day to fresh you up for the tours from the long-flying.  Overnight at Kunming honghe hotel 3*

  • Day 2 Day 2: Kunming

      Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, take train to Naigu Stone Forest, have a walking tour. It is about 10km to the east of Large Stone Forest. โ€œ Naigu โ€œin the Yi language means old and black. It covers an area of 7.83 square kilometers with the characteristics of magnificence, roughness , primitiveness and simpleness. Seen from outside , the forest resembles an ancient battle field , mysterious. However go inside , it looks like a place luxurious and solemn.. Then drop off at Nanping shopping street to walk around in the downtown in Kunming In the evening, your can choose the Option tour: Dynamic Yunnan Show (The tickets you can pay on spot not including in package) Time: 20:00-21:30 Overnight at Kunming honghe hotel 3*

  • Day 3 Day 3: Dali

      Day 3: Dali

      This morning, transfer to railway station for taking the high speed train to Dali (2hrs running time ).  Arrive at Dali , after meet your guide move to take a cruise tour  on Erhai Lake by small boat to small Island (local temple, fishing village, market)  and Zhoucheng, where you will visit a local temple and a tie-dye processing factory.the outstanding landmarkand drive back to the old city of Dali with a stop to visit about Three Pagodas,  in the area. Later go to have a look about Dali Old Town.  Lunch at local Chinese restaurant and dinner on your own account. Overnight at China Old Story Dali Inn 

  • Day 4 Day 4: Lijiang

      Day 4: Lijiang

      Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Lijiang. On the way stop at discover some Bai minority villages like Xizhou, famous for the architecture of its residences. Then continue to  have a tour of Shibaoshan Mountain ( The scenery is wonderful, and rather unique in being adorn with red rock geomorphology.Continue to visit Shaxi town (The remains of an ancient market town and once an active trade stop on the Southern Silk Road that connected Tibet and China with Southeast Asia and on to Europe.Shaxi has been listed by the World Monuments Fund as one of the worldโ€™s 100 most endangered sites).  After the tour ,driving with your Chinese driver to Lijiang (2-2.5hrs) Upon arrival,check in hotel. Overnight at China Old Story Lijiang Inn 

  • Day 5 Day 5: Lijiang

      In the morning, visit Naxi villages-- Yuhu Village and Joseph Rockโ€™s former residence (the house is located in Yuhu--- a small Naxi village about 10km north of Lijiang. It is a pretty farming village, quite isolated - and hence perfect for the quiet scholarship that Rock practised. )Afterward, visit Black Dragon Pond Park As the water here is a lucid green color, it gained another name Jade Spring Park (Yuquan Park). There are many distinctive and ravishing sites in the park and Dongba Culture Museum, sanctuary of the ancient Naxi culture. Walk about the old streets of Lijiang Old Town. A well-preserved old city of ethnic minorities with brilliant culture.  Lijiang was placed on the world cultural heritage list in 1997. Overnight at China Old Story Lijiang Inn 

  • Day 6 Day 6: Shangri-La

      Day 6: Shangri-La

      In the morning, take the public bus with our guide to have a tour of Tiger Leaping Gorge. Legend says it is so narrow here that a hunted tiger could escape in one jump. Then transfer to Shangri-La ( 2.5hrs ).

      check in your hotel and stroll in Dukezong ancient town.  Overnight at Shangri-La Salong hotel 

  • Day 7 Day 7: Shangri-La

      Take a tour of Lake Napa Nature Reserve (aka Lake Napa), lying in the valley of a high mountain plateau situated about 3270 m above sea level and covering 660 sq km , is located about 400 km northwest. Later visit the jewel of Tibetan cultures, Ganden Songzanglin Temple, built by the 5th Dalai Lama. This monastery follows the architecture of the Potala Palace in Lhasa and hosts a community of 700 monks. Later go to visit a Tibetan Family and stroll in Dukezong Old Town.  Overnight at Shangri-La

  • Day 8 Day 8: Lhasa

      In the monring, take the flight to Lhasa (2 hours and 30 minutes).   Once you arrive, our local Tibetan tour guide and driver will greet you at Lhasa Airport to transfer you to the hotel.From the airport to downtown Lhasa, it takes about 1.2hrs. After transferred to hotel, the rest of the day you will be free to wander around the city on your own but try not to overtax yourself. The first dayโ€™s well-rest is crucial to acclimatize the high altitude. Remember to drink lots of water, eat light, and not to shower if you can help it.

      Todayโ€™s first attraction is to visit Drepung Monastery which is the worldโ€™s largest monastery that housed for more than 10,000 monks; it was the resident of the Dalai Lama. After lunch, you will continue to visit the Sera Monastery which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapaโ€™s disciple Jamchen Choeje. The most attractive thing of Sera Monastery is the Buddhist Scriptures debating held in the courtyard between 15:00 - 17:00 from Monday to Saturday.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Lhasa City

      In the morning our guide will meet you at the hotel and first take you to visit the famous Potala Palace, the cardinal landmark of Tibet and the masterpiece of Tibetan architecture, it was first built by 33rd King Songtsen Gangpo in the 7th century and rebuilt it later in the 17th century by 5th Dalai Lama, now it is a museum and world heritage site.

      In the afternoon, we will go to visit Jokhang Temple in the center of the old Lhasa city. Jokhang Temple is one of the most sacred temples in all over Tibet and it is always bustling with earnest local pilgrims since from early days. After that you will take a walk around the Barkhor street which is the one of the most devotional circuit as well as a crowded central market of Lhasa, Barkhor Street is located in the old area of Lhasa City Tibet, it is a very ancient round street surrounding the Jokhang Temple and the locals are always proud of it. As a symbol of Lhasa, it is also a must-see place for visitors.

  • Day 11 Day 11: Lhasa- Gyantse(4040M)- Shigatse(3840M), 360Km, Approx 6Hrs

      Day 11: Lhasa- Gyantse(4040M)- Shigatse(3840M), 360Km, Approx 6Hrs

      We will pass by Kampala pass (4794m) on the way from Lhasa to Shigatse and visit Yamdrok Lake. Covering 638Kmยฒ, Yamdrok Lake is one of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet. The lake is surrounded by many snow-capped mountains and is fed by numerous small streams. 

      Later we will pass and enjoy the Karola Glacier on the roadside. It is about 300m from the main highway with easy access on your way to Gyantse.

      Then visit the main monastery in Gyantse - Pelkor Chode Monastery. Pelkhor Choede in Gyantse town is located about 230km to the south of Lhasa and 100kmto east of Shigatse. The monastery is a short walk from the heart of the town.

  • Day 12 Day 12: Shigatse - Tingri - Ebc(5100M), 350Km, Approx 7Hrs

      In the morning, you will leave Shigatse to Lhatse, a small town located 150 km from Shigatse, and you may have lunch in the local restaurant. After a short rest, you will go ahead to Tingri. You will pass Tsola Pass(4600M), and Gyatsola Pass(5248M). In the late afternoon, you enter Mt. Everest National Nature Reserve. You can enjoy the panorama of Himalaya at Gawula Pass (5198m).Then we drive along the new zigzag road to Rongpuk or the Tent Camp to stay overnight. If the weather is good, you can have a clear view of the sunset of golden Everest peak.

      If itโ€™s summertime (usually May~Oct), we will stay overnight at the nomad tents of the new Everest Base Camp; if winter time (usually Nov~Apr), we will stay at Rongbuk Monasteryโ€™s guesthouse. Both places have but only the dorm bed lodging available. Both places you can see the glorious Everest sunset if the weather is good.

  • Day 13 Day 13: Ebc - Shigatse, 350Km, Approx 6Hrs

      You can get up early and enjoy the sunrise of Everest Peak at lodging area if the weather is good. And then, we can drive you to the Everest Base Camp. After sightseeing, we will drive back to Shigatse and enjoy the fabulous view along the way.

  • Day 14 Day 14: Shigatse - Lhasa, 300Km, Approx 5Hrs

      In Shigatse, we will visit Tashilunpo Monastery the home of Panchen Lama. It was founded by the 1st Dalai Lama in 1447, and is a historic and culturally important monastery in Shigatse and also the second-largest city in Tibet. It located on a hill in the center of the city, the full name in Tibetan of the monastery means "all fortune and happiness gathered here" or "heap of glory". Drive back to Lhasa from Shigatse along the friendship way, the northern way to Lhasa. On the way, youโ€™ll see the Yarlung Tsangpo valley.
