Day 2: Yerevan

Stop At: Yerevan, Yerevan
Yerevan (Armenian National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, Matenadaran, Cascade, Martiros Saryan House-Museum). It’s worth at least once to be at Martiros Saryan House Museum to be enchanted by the great painter's artworks.

Day 3: Haghartsin Monastery - Goshavank - Yenokavank - Lastiver

Stop At: Haghartsin Monastery, Dilijan Armenia
Haghartsin (Armenian: Հաղարծին) is a 13th-century monastery located near the town of Dilijan in the Tavush Province of Armenia. It was built between the 10th and 13th centuries (in the 12th under Khachatur of Taron); much of it under the patronage of the Bagratuni Dynasty.Traditionally, an eagle was soaring over the dome of the main building at its dedication and thus it became commonly known as the monastery of the playing (or soaring) eagle("Hagh" means a game while "Artsin" a form of "Artsiv" means eagle in Armenian).

Stop At: Goshavank Monastery, 15 km of Dilijan, Gosh Armenia
The next stop is Goshavank. The monastery complex of Gosh is one of the centers of spiritual and educational interest of medieval Armenia. Goshavank proudly arises on the top and it is especially glorious and beautiful in cloudy weather. While climbing to the church, one can't help admiring the rugged nature of the Tavush region. This is one of the rare places on the planet that makes you reach the sky. The sky is closer here, the air is cleaner. Goshavank was founded by medieval thinker and public figure Mkhitar Gosh. The authorotive "American Encyclopedia" named him one of the prominent representatives of the Armenian Renaissance.

Tavush province is rich in rivers, the largest of which is the Aghstev River. One of the tributaries of this river, Khachahpyur, leads to the beautiful corners of Ijevan, to the area of Lastiver. Lastiver is within a few hours' drive from Yerevan and is one of the most favorite places for active leisure, both among the citizens of the country and the tourists. Lastiver, you definitely need to visit the cave famously known by its name Anapat (Desert), which has an interesting and ancient history.

Day 4: Sevan - Sevanavank

Stop At: Lake Sevan, Lake Sevan, Gegharkunik Province
Lake Sevan is located in the north-eastern part of the Armenian Highland, in Gegharkunik Region. Sevan is considered to be one of the three ancient and biggest lakes (Vana and Urmia) of the Armenian Kingdom. It was called the “blue eyes” of Armenia and is surrounded by Geghama, Vardenis, Pambak, Sevan and Areguni mountain chains. The blue beauty of Armenia situates at an altitude of 1900m above sea level.The Lake consists of two unequal parts called Big and Small.

Stop At: Monastery Sevanavank, next the Holy Mother of God Church, Sevan Armenia
Founded in the 305 y., two churches - 874 y. The Sevan monastery was once located on the Sevan island (now peninsula in Gegharkunik district). The island was strengthened with fort walls during the bronze century. During the 9th century Sevan became the royal citadel of the Syuniats kings. In 874 the daughter of King Ashot Bagratuni - Mariam, built the Arakelots and the St.Astvatzatzin (Holy Virgin) churches.
