Day 1: Arrival at Zvartnots International Airport

Day 2: Yerevan - Garni โ Symphony of Stones (walking of 1.5 hour) โ Geghard - Yerevan
Stop At: Garni Temple, Geghard Monastery Road H3, Garni Armenia
Travelers will have a guided tour in the only-remaining hellenistic temple in the Caucasus named Garni. They will be exposed to the Foundation Stone with a Greek inscription, 3rd centruy Roman bath with a Greek inscription on it, will see the temple, a 7th centrury church ruins, 1st century royal summerhouse ruins and an 8th century B.C Urartian cuneiform inscription. Hiking in the Gorge of Garni for 1.5 hours.

Stop At: The Monastery of Geghard, Near Goght Village, Geghard Armenia
Travelers will have a nice chance to visit a UNESCO Heritage List Site in Armenia. They will visit Geghard Monastery that stands for "geghard" in Armenian that means "lance" that was used by the Roman legioner to stab Jesus during the crucification. The Holy Lance is preserved in the treasury of Etchmiadzin Cathedral. Geghard Monastery had been one of the important pilgrimage sites in historical Armenia. The main building of the monastery is half carved from a rock and half built on a pre-Christian Armenian shrine.

Stop At: Khor Virap, Highway 11 - Near the village of Pokr Vedi Artashat, Lusarat 0612 Armenia
Travelers will start the day by visiting Khor Virap monastery that was once a royal prison before being a Christian temple. Travelers will also take the chance to have a view over the border between Armenia and Turkey and for this purpose the location of the monastery is the best.

Travelers will start their tour towards the high-altitude sweet water lake in Armenia named Sevan. Travelers will a visit in Sevanavank monastery to where they will climb over 200 stairs from where a magnificent view will open to the lake from above.

Saghmosavank is located right at the top of Kasagh gorge, near the village of Saghmosavan. Its a monastery which is dated back to 13th century. The monasteryโs first components were built by Prince Vache Vachutyan. In the Middle Ages it was known for holding valuable manuscripts, which were created and copied in the monastery, often about the history of the Armenian nation. A very tall book repository makes up one part of the complex.
