Day 1: Arrival: Meet and Greet! Transfer to the hotel.

Stop At: Republic Square, Yerevan 0001 Armenia
Welcome to Armenia! Once you arrive at Zvartnots International Airport, you will be met by our FeelArmenia-team by Fairyland LLC and taken to the hotel.

Day 2: City Tour: Cascade Complex-Opera House-Northern Avenue-History Museum-Megerian Carpet-Ararat Brandy

Stop At: Cafesjian Center for the Arts, Tamanyan str. 10 Cascade Complex, Yerevan 0009 Armenia
First of all, we get acquainted with the capital city of Armenia. Yerevan is already 2800years old, even older than Rome. In the morning we head to Cascade Complex, which is also considered to be an open-air museum presenting pieces of modern art. The view of the city is complete from the top of the complex, from where you have the big picture of the pink city and savour the majestic Mt Ararat.

Then get ready as the continuation of the day is going to be more lively. You will visit Megerian Carpet, the wonderful exhibition hall with hundreds of Armenian national rugs, pieces of clothing and other traditional items. The last stop of the day will be Ararat Brandy Factory, where you will be told the interesting preparing process of brandy and also taste two types of cognac.

Stop At: History Museum of Armenia, Republic Square 4, Yerevan 375010 Armenia
Then morning walk to Opera House will make you feel lively and super-energetic. You will breathe the fresh morning air and touch the everyday life of the Armenians living in this big city. From Opera House, you will go to Republic Square through Northern Avenue. The life in Northern Avenue never sleeps like New York City. And at Republic Square, you will visit the History Museum, where you will know so much about Armenia, one of the most ancient countries in the world.

Stop At: Megerian Carpet Museum, Madoyan Gukas str. 9, Yerevan 0006 Armenia
Then get ready as the continuation of the day is going to be more lively. You will visit Megerian Carpet, the wonderful exhibition hall with hundreds of Armenian national rugs, pieces of clothing and other traditional items.

Day 3: Geghard - Garni – Duduk Concert-Vernissage

Stop At: The Monastery of Geghard, Near Goght Village, Geghard Armenia
You head to Geghard Monastery. Geghard is a 4th century monastic complex in the middle of the green nature. The monastery is divine by its architecture, position and majesty. The mountains around and the green forest make you feel completely in another world.
Duration: 3 days 18 hours

Stop At: Garni Temple, Geghard Monastery Road H3, Garni Armenia
Next, take the way to Garni, a huge village in Kotayk province, where Armenians have been living since the 3rd millennium BC. There you will visit one of the most incredible pieces of architecture. The temple dates back to the 1st century AD presenting the Hellenistic style. The only pagan temple existing in Armenia is devoted to the god of Sun, Mihr. On the right side of the temple, you will see the bases of a church which was going to be built after adopting Christianity, but the temple remained and the construction of the church was stopped. The amazing gorge is under the cliff where the temple stands. The guarding mountains are just astounding. Right here at the Temple of Garni, you will enjoy Duduk Concert (an Armenian musical instrument famous throughout the world).

Stop At: Vernissage Market, Northern Avenue 6/2 Near Republic Square Subway Station, Yerevan 0013 Armenia
After the concert, you will head to Yerevan and visit an open market of Armenian traditional items. Vernissage is a place where the souvenirs, jewellery, handicrafts, accessories of national clothing and much more than expected can be found.

Day 4: St Gayane-St Hripsime-Etchmiadzin- Zvartnots

Stop At: Saint Hripsime Church, Mesrop Mashtots St., 85 Near the Echmiadzin Monastery Complex, Vagharshapat 1101 Armenia
This is the day for touching the roots of Christianity. You will visit a handful of churches and get to know everything about the origins of Christianity in Armenia. In the morning you head to the spiritual city of Armenia, Etchmiadzin, where you will visit St Gayane and St Hripsime churches built in the honour of virgins Gayane and Hripsime who were preaching Christianity in Armenia and were to be torched by the Armenian King Trdat before adopting the new religion in Armenia.

Stop At: Alex and Marie Manoogian Treasury House Museum, Access on Araratyan St At the Echmiadzin Monastery Complex, Vagharshapat 1101 Armenia
Then, the next stop is at Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, which is the first Christian monastery ever built not only in Armenia but in the whole world as well. This is where our Catholicos sits and gathers all the Christians around him.

Stop At: The Churches of Echmiatsin and the Archaeological Site of Zvartnots, Manushyan St, Vagharshapat Armenia
Not far from the spiritual city you will also visit Zvartnots Cathedral, which, unfortunately, stands in ruins but never loses its charm. It dates back to the 7th century, but the causes of the collapse are not known.

Day 5: Saghmosavank-Haghpat-Sanahin-Dilijan

Stop At: Saghmosavank Monastery, Artashavan 0211 Armenia
Starting from this day we head to the regions of Armenia, which are further and have so much to share with our guests. You will go to the Aragatsotn region and visit an incredible monastery situated on the edge of the gorge of the Kasagh River. Saghmosavank monastic complex dates back to the 13th century and it has been a major book depository. Armenian masters and painters have copied and written valuable books all year round.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Monastery of Sanahin, Alaverdi 1705 Armenia
Continuing the way, you will get to Lori province and visit two other pieces of Armenian architecture, Haghpat and Sanahin. They have been major places for the development of education, literature and art. Sanahin was renowned for its school of illuminators and calligraphers. Dating back to the 10-13th centuries, the monasteries have preserved their beauty and mystery throughout hardships and different decisive situations.

Pass By: Dilijan, Dilijan, Tavush Province
From Lori region, you will go to the Tavush region to have a stay in Dilijan and to enjoy the superb nature of Tavush region.

Day 6: Dilijan-Goshavank-Haghartsin-Dilijan

Stop At: Goshavank Monastery Complex, Gosh 3907, Armenia
You will discover Dilijan and be amazed by its natural treasure. Everywhere is green and everything is in green. It seems the roads or the buildings are planted in the forest. Goshavank monastery is quite high by its position and is a huge monastic complex. The grey stone from which the monastery has been built is just blending with the surrounding.

Stop At: Haghartsin Monastery, Dilijan Armenia
After Goshavank you head to Haghartsin, the white pearl of the forest. Dating back to the 11th century, the monastic complex has been an important centre for the development of education and cultural life since the 13th century.

Stop At: Dilijan, Dilijan, Tavush Province
And last but not least, you will visit the old part of the city which is called Old Dilijan, where you will see the preserved way of life existing in Armenia. The style of the houses, streets, balconies are so special and beautiful.

Day 7: Dilijan-Sevanavank-Noratous-Selim-Yeghegis-Jermuk

Stop At: Monastery Sevanavank, next the Holy Mother of God Church, Sevan Armenia
We leave Dilijan and head to lake Sevan where we go up the hill on the peninsula and appear in front of a magnificent monastery dating back to the 8th century. Sevanavank and the peninsula have played a crucial role in Armenian history. The magical lake, in other words, ‘the blue eye of Armenia’, is under your feet. It is one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world.

Stop At: Noratus, Noratus, Gegharkunik Province
Not far from the shore you will discover other sites such as Noratous. There you will see thousands of khachkars in one and the same place but you can’t find even two of them being the same. All are different and all have special ornaments. You will be just amazed by the number of standing khachkars and by their uniqueness. The name of Armenia as ‘an open-air museum’ is completely proven right here.

Stop At: Selim Caravanserai, Vardenyats Pass, Aghnjadzor Armenia
The next stop is at Selim. Selim Caravanserai was built along the commercial route for the accommodation of travellers. The famous Silk Road was passing by the Selim mountains, and this building has been a perfect place for travellers. Selim Caravanserai dates back to the 14th century but has been kept quite well.

Stop At: Zorats Church, Yeghegis Road, Yeghegis Armenia
After Selim, we come to Yeghegis, one of the richest and most important cities in Armenia. It has been the seat of the Orbelian family in the 13th-14h centuries. The city has undergone a lot of difficulties and attacks, invasions and plunder. But it has kept the cultural heritage. Zorats Church sits on a hill overlooking the river. The church was created so that warriors sitting on their horses could receive the sacrament and the blessing of the Church before going to battle. The blessing of troops and their horses before the battle were commonplace, but no other church in Armenia was built exactly for that purpose.

Stop At: Jermuk, Jermuk, Vayots Dzor Province
From Yeghegis we go to Jermuk where the overnight will be. Jermuk is one of the main spa and resort towns which is famous for mineral water pools, the surrounding forests, walking trails, artificial lakes, waterfalls, and fresh air.

Day 8: Jermuk-Gndevank-Tatev-Shaki Waterfall-Jermuk

Stop At: Gndevank Monastery, Jermuk Armenia
Next morning starts early as we head to the southern part of Armenia. We start with Gndevank. The monastery dates back to the 10th century. Once Princess Sephia of Syunik said: "Vayots Dzor was a ring without a jewel but I built this monastery as the jewel for the ring".

Stop At: Wings of Tatev, Tatev Gateway, Halidzor 3218 Armenia
And then we go to Tatev Monastery. We are going to take the longest ropeway in the world. Tatev is a 9th-century monastery having such a rich history and great significance. The monastery has been the first university in Armenia, the cultural, educational centre where a number of great thinkers, artists and masters have studied, worked and developed Armenian way of life. About the surrounding of the monastic complex? Well, you just need to see that and feel the uniqueness of this gem of the Armenian medieval architecture.

Stop At: Shaki Waterfall, Sisian Armenia
Before being back, you have somewhere else to visit. Shaki waterfall provides the most relaxing and wonderful ambience for everyone. On the left side of the river Vorotan's gorge, basalt lava flows have solidified to form a ledge 18 meters high from which the waterfall cascades down. As almost all the names of sites in Armenia, there is also a legend about the Shaki waterfall. But we will come to that later, during our journey, not now.

Day 9: Jermuk-Noravank-Areni Winery-Areni Cave-Khor Virap-Yerevan

Stop At: Noravank Monastery, NoravankMonastery Road Amaghu Valley, Areni 3604 Armenia
It is time to return to Yerevan, and on the way, we have exceptional experiences for you. The first one is Noravank blended with the surrounding mountains. Noravank dates back to the 13th century. The monastery has been a significant place for Armenian well-known artists to live, work and create their works of art.

Stop At: Hin Areni Winery, Areni Armenia
What is next? We go to Areni Cave which shows the world that
Armenians have been making wine in this territory for more than 6000years. You will have a chance to become an archaeologist for a few minutes and travel through time.

Stop At: Khor Virap, Highway 11 - Near the village of Pokr Vedi Artashat, Lusarat 0612 Armenia
And finally, we get to Khor Virap, where Grigor the Illuminator has been kept for 13years after which Christianity was accepted as the state religion of Armenia. The monastery and biblical Mt Ararat make up the perfect combination of harmony. Right here you will see how Christianity and Grigor the Enlightener have struggled for the will of God. In the evening we are back to Yerevan.

Day 10: Free day; Gala dinner in the evening.

For this day we haven’t planned anything special to do, but you are to choose how to spend the day. You have a number of opportunities: roaming in the streets of Yerevan, doing shopping or just staying at the hotel and making good use of the facilities the hotel provides… But, please, leave your evening free as we are going to have an awesome farewell dinner and really enjoy Armenian cuisine, music, and dances. The evening is going to be unforgettable!

Day 11: Departure: Transfer to the Airport
